These file folders are very sturdy and did the job that we needed to put previous years taxes in them. I loved them so much that I ended up buying more for my regular filing needs.

Nice size & weight - 3 stars because the hanging clips are retractable & you have to tape them open so they do not retract while you move the file jackets in the box.

I'm yet another customer happy with this purchase. Before buying I did check out other sites for online reviews to confirm that the manufacturer produces a good quality plastic office product. (Been burned by plastics in the past.) In the reviews I recognized other products by the same company that I've been very happy with in the past. The four file boxes are sturdy and a great value. I've got some similar for which I paid twice the amount. My other file boxes have and I would have liked a translucent see-thru bottom instead of solid black but for essentially almost half price... not complaining! Especially as they also have the added feature of the little office supply compartment on the lid which raises the price. (That little lid is translucent at least.) I do wonder over time whether the actual lid will stay attached. They came 4 to a stack opened up in a very big box to allow room for lids and some of the lids were unattached. But the lids clipped right into the bottoms and we've been using them a couple of weeks without problems. Oh and shipping did not take as long as the several weeks they predicted for this one item. I think I got them in about a week. YMMV.

The plastic hangers tend to push back into the hanging folder. They hold a lot of papers and are sturdy for long time use in one place. I have not moved them around so I am not sure how well they will work on the go.

Terrible quality

I expected better quality. They broke as soon as I dropped the files into the drawer. The hanger collapses and then the file fall into the drawer. Very dissappointed because they wouldn't stay on the rails of the new file box I bought. I finally gave up and just put them in the bottom of the drawer packed closely together so they would fall over.

Really great product. Has sturdy plastic hangers that are also retractable. They come in assorted colors and they expand to 2-1/2" but really can stretch to about 3". Comes with plastic tab inserts already in the file jacket. Will purchase again.
