These were perfect for my needs. I used them in clear crates I got from Staples (similar to milk crates but designed to also hold files). The rainbow colors look really cheerful and the folders keep everything neat and organized.

Finally... something that holds up really good and the quality and sturdiness adds to the longevity of the file holder. The retractable file hangers provide flexibility in hanging them or not. I have not used them for hanging just yet but so far so good.

These folders work but have some annoying features. I would have taken them back if the store was closer to me. The retractable hooks are stiff to get out but annoyingly collapse when not wanted. The pleats are very stiff and hard to unfold which seems to limit the capacity vs. the cardboard ones I previously purchased. They also do not seem to fit as well on the hangers.

There are a great hanging file pocket. I use them to organize my craft projects and they work great. I have even used them to help organize items in plastic tubs not just my file cabinet.
