It's true the other comments say that the hooks are not sturdy enough. They are not. They are made from hard plastic that starts to give after some weight has been added. I combat this by sliding in one or two metal hooks from a standard hanging folder and that does the trick. Making this adjustment they are perfect for my use. Also yes the pleats are a little strange. Because the folder is made of thin plastic they get a little misshapen after some use. However because again they're plastic just pushing on them a little and readjusting the folder itself they go back to normal. These folders aren't perfect but they're the best for the purpose they serve that I've found.

Labels & plastic tabs

The labels should not be glossy. One should be able to write with any pen and not have it smear. The plastic tabs do not secure the labels. I had to use tabs that came with Pendaflex folders to keep labels in place.

These file folders are very sturdy and did the job that we needed to put previous years taxes in them. I loved them so much that I ended up buying more for my regular filing needs.
