They're sturdier and are going to last longer than other cheaper mechanical pencils. And my kids loved that they came with extra lead and earners!

They go through them like colored candy. They like to take them to their friends at school too them there are none left for me. I love the way the erasers stand up to the toughest ones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Bic velocity pencils are pretty good. Great colors, grips and eraser... but at the end of the day it's just another mechanical pencil. Excessive clicking and broken lead. Kids like then but with all the snapping tips the non stop clicking about drove me crazy. Lead just needs to be a little thicker to withstand the pressure.

I thought that they were super easy to use and really easy to get the lead to come out. I love how smooth the writing was and also they pencils felt really good in my hand. They were really nice to hold and could write for a long period comfortable. I also thought that they colors were really fun to look at. My son has used them for the first week of school and he thinks that they are easy to use and fun. He said he likes them better than other pencils he has used! Also there has been no issues with the lead breaking which is amazing!!!
