I like the comfortable grip and the smooth feeling of the lead on the paper. My kids like these pencils too - and don't think they are dweeby" looking :) so they are willing to bring them to school."

They write very smoothly and the lead lasts for awhile. This is our new go to pencil. Her friends that have borrowed them always ask her where she gets them. I also took one to work and let a few of my coworkers use it so they could see how smooth they write. I gave out the coupons and I know a few of them bought some. This is the best mechanical pencil we have used in awhile and it is affordable!! We also love the bright colors!!! Good job on a quality product Bic!!

We love all the different barrel colors, the fact that they are refillable is great. They are durable and strong, yet they write/draw with beautiful soft strokes. They erase cleanly and don't leave any of those annoying streaks behind. We would recommend the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils to anyone and everyone. They definitely are on our back to school shopping list and I am going to keep a few for myself ... They really are a great product. Good job BIC !

I have used many different types of mechanical pencils, and I have to say I really like the way these write. They are easy to hold, the grip is comfortable, and they feel a lot like an ink pen. The eraser works well. The lead" is easy to refill. I think I like writing with these better than most other pencils I've tried. I will look for these in the store when I go to stock up on school supplies this fall."

They write smoothly and feel comfortable in your hand.The lead last such a long time as well as the erasers. If you use to much of the eraser though without changing it it will get stuck. I would use a different eraser instead of the pencil eraser.
