So smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying the new BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencil, I hated using mechanical pencils. The lead always broke, but these are very durable and smooth! Love it!

Clever design

I love to draw and write, now I mainly use them for lists and with some of my designing for my knitting. I shared my BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils with my children.(ages 10 and 7) My 10 year old daughter is into drawing everything and making comics with her friends. She loves the ability to sharpen think lines without making them to thick, and having strong pencil leads. I'm rather fond of the replacement set of erasers and pencil lead packaging. That is a new and innovative option that I've never seen before but absolutely love. I would definitely purchase these if I saw them in store just to keep a stash around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free of charge for being a bzz agent. I never really use pencils, but decided to give these a try. I must say I absolutely love the grip that the pencils have them. They allow me to write with ease I don't have to worry about my fingers hurting from holding the pen. I also love that they are mechanical and I don't have to worry about having to sharpen it when broken . They also come with extra erasers and that's a plus. These are very convenient and a must have . The only downside is I don't think they are suitable for younger school age children, maybe middle school and above.

Wow! Love !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are amazing! They write super smooth. They are bigger than most mechanical pencils so they have better grip as well. My son, who is going to be a 4th grader, loved them. He raved about the different design of this pencil, like the eraser cover and how well they wrote. We will be stocking up on these for school!

Putting the Fun into Pencils

She's in love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't just your run of the mill mechanical pencil. This is the top of the line, if there were such a thing, in 'clicky' pencils. At first glance, there isn't anything special - 5 colorful pencils, one extra barrel of .7mm lead, and a barrel of 5 eraser refills. Then, you open it. The first thing you notice is the grip. It's so soft, yet very supportive. The erasers also have a clear cap, which, for the kids, is kind of tough to get off (which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.) I also doesn't prevent the lead from being 'clicked' when it's on. I write quite a bit, and so does my (left handed) 11 year old daughter. She and I both gave these pencils a test. The lead is smooth, so much more than I've ever used before. I'm not sure if it's the eraser or the lead, but when I made a mistake, there was no proof of it, unlike some other brands! According to my daughter, the pencil is very easy to write with and when you erase things
