[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think there great. They're easy to use and refilling them is a breeze. The kids love all the different colors and the fact that they have grippers on them also is a huge plus. The lead seems to be easy to erase with out leaving behind messy eraser marks. #gotitfree #bzzagent #BICVElocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that I've been out of school for years and have rarely picked up a mechanical pencil since, but my son recently graduated from the wooden barrels to mechanical pencils. First off, I have to say that the lead is great--my son used to complain about the friction when using other leads. I do think that the best feature is the eraser--finally a pencil that erases as well as it writes! I am glad that my days of sharpening are behind me, and he loves the pop of color, especially his favorite blue BIC Velocity mechanical pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are very useful. Not only because school year is coming up, but at home and for other activities. They write real easy and the lead doesn't break so easily. The numerous things you can do from writing, drawing, and doodling is really wonderful because it shows up well without having to erase much at all. Stronger lead and the kids enjoy being able to try something new. They are excited to use during school .This is especially useful when they are always drawing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Myself and my son regularly use mechanical pencils and we both will tell you it's hard to find ones that write well, erases well, has strong lead and lasts. But these BIC Velocity pencils are the BOMB! They advance the lead well and write very easily without feeling like the lead is about to snap. They erase cleanly and completely. The lead lasts and isn't too soft. BIC Velocity mechanical pencils have been placed at the TOP of our school shopping list!
