The barrel helps reduce the stress of writing on your hand. The eraser has a cap, which is a plus. The eraser works great & with an easy swipe, corrections can be made. They come with extra lead & the lead is strong & does not break off easy. Amazing! Great job BIC.

He says it writes really well and erases fairly well. He did say that the lead breaks easily, but I did tell him not to bare down as hard as he would a regular pencil. It's great that he doesn't have to worry about constantly sharpening his pencil.

The lead is smooth gliding and doesn't seem to break as fast as some other mechanical pencils I have used in the past. Also the don't leave that nasty residue when you erase and I love that. And The best part they come in a variety of colors!
