Great Mechanical Pencils

My boys love mechanical pencils and these are top notch ones and they write very smoothly instead of the lead constantly breaking. Anything that makes my kids excited to do school work is great by me!

Writes nicely but doesn't erase completely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very nice pencils but when you have to erase some does stay on the paper. Which I can overlook this since I hardly ever erase anything. The different colors of the pencils make writing fun and a little more enjoyable. Over all I would recommend buying the BIC Velocity pencils.

My kids love mechanical pencils, just as I did when I was a kid. The vibrant colors keep their attention and gets them ready for school work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never used mechanical pencils before this bzz campaign. I was old fashioned and always used wood pencils. But my kids always want mechanical pencils. So every year I buy them the cheapest mechanical pencils I can find thinking they are a waste of money anyway. Well, I have been proven wrong. These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are so much better than the cheap generic pencils! They write so nice! They have a nice soft squishy grip, generics do not have this, nor do wood pencils. The lead doesn't snap off if you press hard, sure it will break, maybe, but not like regular pencils or generic mechanical pencils. They write smoothly and darker without too much effort. The eraser works well too. I like that these have led and eraser refills too. That way they aren't a waste of money or too bad for the environment. I have nothing bad to say about these. My daughter in 8th grade loves them too. She was happy when I gave her some for the new school year. She uses them daily at school.
