[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always preferred mechanical pencils but they felt cheap and uncomfortable in my hand. These Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils not only have a great feel in the hand, they write smoothly. My son, who is in middle school is looking forward to using these in school for the same reason. He goes through a lot of mechanical pencils because he presses hard and the led breaks frequently. He didn't have that problem with these pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great. They do not feel flimsy or cheaply made. I like the fact that it has a cap for the eraser. I've never seen that on a mechanical pencil before . I love the way it feel while writing with it . it has a built in gripper that make writing easy and comfortable. The tip is always sharp due to the fact that the lef it small in diameter. Irecommend 100%.

I don't usually buy mechanical pensils because I don't think they're worth it. These ones are. They are comfortable in your hand and well made enough to survive school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are awesome! I am a recently-returned graduate student, and I have been using these pencils for my homework. I keep one in my purse at all times, and several more in my backpack. They have a 0.7 lead, so they don't break easily, and the lead doesn't retract back into the shaft of the pencil when writing (I hate when that happens!). They also erase cleanly. For an added bonus, they come in 5 bright colors, extra lead, and extra erasers!!

Once they stared writing they stated the writing style made their writing appear so beautiful. They are also comfortable on the hands. I was left with only one after my kids took them all.
