Well Used And Well Loved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a HUGE mechanical pencil fan, and BIC is always my favorite! These BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are no exception! As a person who works in accounting, I'm ALWAYS looking for a good pencil! I also love puzzle books, and will only do them in pencil so I can erase! These pencils write great, but I hate the cap! Every time I'd turn my pencil over to erase, there was that darn cap on it! Easy fix?? THROW THE CAP AWAY! They fit well in my hand and have a built in pencil grip, but they feel slightly larger than a normal pencil and definitely larger than any other BIC pencils I've used. I'm not sure why, since there is no more lead in them than other BICs. As an accounting person, I love that these pencils come with additional lead. There seems to be 3 pieces of lead in the pencils already, and you get a pack with 12 additional sticks of lead. As a a parent... I hate that these pencils come with additional lead... It's just more for my kids to play with! :) I'll have to look into the price of these pencils to see if they're worth me switching from the basic BICs to these new BIC Velocity, but if the price is similar, I'd definitely consider switching! Loving to write with my Bic Velocity Pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! you'd think how can a mechincal pencil be different from others right?Bic Velocity writes so smooth and erases with ease. I use mechanicl pencils for work and personal use, this is one that I really have no issues with. The grip at the end of the pencil is comfortable, fits great in my fingers, it is light and as I stated above its smooth writing almost gliding across the page. I let my son have 1 (yes only 1) he LOVES this pencil. When he made a mistake the eraser took all of the lead off the page. When he writes he doesnt have the lead breakage like he has with other mechanicl pencils. We will be adding Bic Velocity pencils to our school supply shopping list this year!

BIC is tops in pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils free for review. My daughter absolutely loves the colors and ease of use for these pencils. It is nice that they also include refills as well. I notice that they are slightly stronger than other mechanical pencils when writing, which for a school student is key.

Great Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying these new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, I would have wanted to know how much the replacement lead costs and if I could buy the lead separately or would I have to buy the whole pack of pencils. I have never used Mechanical Pencils before because I have seen my kids use them before and every-time they write the lead would seem to break or when they would use the eraser the lead would pop out. I have even seen the eraser break right out of the pencil, so I was very skeptical that they would be any better. So, when I received these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils for free from BzzAgent I was excited to try them to see if they are better then the ones my kids have used in the past. Well, they are GREAT mechanical pencils. I used these at first to make up a shopping list just to test drive them. WOW do they write so smoothly. I even got to use the eraser and to my surprise the lead didn't advance at all and the eraser didn't pop off and it erased my mistake perfectly. I will definitely be using these all the time instead of a regular pencil.

Love these pencils!

They loved the colors, the caps on the erasers, they erased really well and the lead did not break easily. These are now their go to" pencils. If they need to write anything they grab these first and on one occasion

My new go to pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are probably the best mechanical pencils ever becaise they can be used anywhere a pencil can be used because they are #2 my son and I both prefer Mechanical pencils over regular pencils and with these BIC Velocity pencils he can use them at school. I will definitely be buying more BIC Velocity pencils when the time comes and this is all my son wants to use at school this year.
