Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils for a Bzz Agent campaign. I decided to let my kids use them for a few weeks so that I could give a fair review. My son is 13 yrs old and my daughter is 11 yrs old. Both of my children prefer mechanical pencils to regular pencils so they were excited to try these. The first thing both my son and daughter commented on was how comfortable these pencils are, I also agree. I don't remember ever seeing a mechanical pencil with a rubber grip, a huge improvement as far as I'm concerned. They also loved the vibrant colors of these pencils, not the usual boring colors. Another plus! My children as well as myself have written with these pencils and they perform very well. These pencils write very smooth and almost feels like your using a pen. The Velocity pencils also have a very good eraser, good quality there as well. And my children had no problem replacing the lead in these pencils as they sometimes do with other mechanical pencils. The Bic Velocity is an all around great pencil and I will definitely continue to purchase.

He loves the bright colors and says the colors make him happy because it's no boring pencil color. As a parent I like the design that is kid friendly and easy for the child to add new lead and get right back to work. Great job BIC!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are very high quality and are standing up to extensive use so far. The leads aren't breaking easily like some others can and they write smoothly for me every time. I really like the eraser cover and the rubbery gripper that isn't squishy because those get filthy and are hard to clean. This pencil cleans easily though! I think people of almost any age would really enjoy using these with all of the great features I've mentioned, plus they're a great price with a long standing reputation company, Bic. School just started for me and I am LOVING the long lasting leads for the coursework :) This review is my own opinion and I got to try these awesome pencils for free thanks to BIC

The grip on the mechanical pencil is comfortable while I am writing and the lead writes so smoothly. I loved that they came with extra led and erasers !!! Now I don't have to just toss them after I run out of led or my eraser this is definitely a plus !! Thanks to buzzagent I got this product free !!

Great, easy-to-use pencils with NO sharpener

My 8-year-old daughter has never been able to use a mechanical pencil because she pushes too hard and breaks the lead all the time, trying to write darker. The Bic Velocity pencils allow her to not have to push so hard and yet write drak and very smoothly. She loves the bright colors and feels so grown up using a mechanical pencil, and I'm not constantly having to sharpen pencils for her. As a teacher, I have recommended these pencils to all my students as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the pack of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils in my BzzKit. One pack stayed home, and the other went to work (we use pencils all the time). The colors are a ton of fun. One of my coworkers HAD to have the orange one. Everyone has been impressed that the pack comes with a nice little holder for the extra erasers and leads. We all liked that you can't lose the top, and that it opens from both ends. The grips are great. We write a lot at work, and it makes things comfortable. My son has been enjoying the ones we have at home, and has already told me that he wants a pack for school. He likes them better than any other mechanical pencils he has used. My only complaint is the erasers. The smear the graphite instead of completely erasing things. They aren't as bad as some, but they could be better. Everything else on the pencil is great.
