After sharing the five pack with five of her friends, they all now Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils as well, including the parents. Myself as well. My daughter says the pencil will squeak at times" but I nor anyone who sampled the mechanical pencils have had said problem. We love the colorful design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these to my daughter who started 7th grade this year. She likes to use the mechanical pencils so she doesn't have to worry about carrying around or finding a pencil sharpener. Refilling is cleaner and much easier than sharpening. These come in a variety of colors but they aren't too bright so that even older kids or adults would want to use them. I really like the finger grips so they are easier to hold.

I have used one and they seem to have a comfortable hold and write pretty good as well and I love that they came with refills and I also love that I got them free have already told others about it and given out coupons for them......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed getting the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils because I am a huge pencil user. I love the pointy tip and good eraser. The bright colors are fun, too! The lead was dark enough and easily erasable. I'd like to keep the whole pack to myself, but I know I'll send some to school with the kids! Mechanical pencils are just more FUN to write with than traditional pencils! Thanks #BIC! Love the sample from #BzzAgent!

My daughter is a sophomore and used only mechanical pencils and the ones she's used before constantly broke. Since using these, not one has broke. I would recommend these to anyone who used mechanical pencils!

Well, fast forward to Bic's new pencils and he's in love! They are thick enough for him not to feel like he's gonna break it. They write very smoothly and they look great! I think we have a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me awhile to review. I didn't want to just jump into it. I really wanted to see what they could do. So far they are amazing. Not once has the lead brook like most do. I love the fact the pack comes with extra lead and erasers. When you write with this pencils it is a smooth writing experience. I recommend this to everyone. :) I have to say my fav one is purple. I know they are all the same BUT purple is always better.
