[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls have been in school for a few weeks now. They each took a pack to school and I bought extra packs to give to the class. My girls have loved using the new BIC Velocity pencils. They like that they can pick a new color each day. The girls commented that they write really well. My 13-year-old thought that they worked better than most pencils and my 11-year-old said that they didn?t break as often as her regular pencils. They both commented that the eraser worked well too. We have a few at home as well and I have tried them out as well. I agree with my girls that they write well. The colors are fun and the extra pack of lead is good to have. I will definitely consider using these pencils throughout the year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these mechanical pencils. The lead is 0.7 mm, so it doesn't break constantly like thinner lead. The colors are bright and pretty! The eraser has a cap so it won't accidentally fall off in a backpack or purse. Perfect for everyday use. My oldest son draws with his a lot and can use them just like a regular pencil. Another outstanding product from Bic!

They both like using mechanical pencils in school, but got frustrated last year with how often their pencils broke and ran out of lead. They have been using these BIC Velocity pencils for two weeks and they both agree they are the best pencils they have ever used. They write very smoothly and don't break easily, saving both lead and time. These will be the only pencils our family purchases from here on out.

Loving to write with my Bic Velocity Pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW! you'd think how can a mechincal pencil be different from others right?Bic Velocity writes so smooth and erases with ease. I use mechanicl pencils for work and personal use, this is one that I really have no issues with. The grip at the end of the pencil is comfortable, fits great in my fingers, it is light and as I stated above its smooth writing almost gliding across the page. I let my son have 1 (yes only 1) he LOVES this pencil. When he made a mistake the eraser took all of the lead off the page. When he writes he doesnt have the lead breakage like he has with other mechanicl pencils. We will be adding Bic Velocity pencils to our school supply shopping list this year!
