[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my first impression was colored pens because the package does not specified but after using them loved writing smooth and fast, the ends do not break as easily and have like a cushion are perfect for my children as they begin classes until my I loved drawing with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sixth grade daughter loves these pencils she said she's excited to use them at school and show them to her friends because they write smoothly and they have a cool That keeps the eraser safe. As a parent I love these pencils that comes with lead an extra erasers and lead.The lead is durable. As a employee in a school I have used all kinds of pencils and mechanical pencils this BIC mechanical pencil is by far one of the best I have used. I would love to thank BIC for sending me these pencils for free to try out. I will definitely be buying more and sharing them with my friends .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is left handed and will only use mechanical pencils. That being said, she refuses to use a cheap brand. When a left handed person writes, their hand drags over their paper and the words they just wrote can smear badly. My daughter has used many different brands over the years and BIC is by far the best, left hands down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to use the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, she loves to draw and constantly shapening can be a hassle plus the pencil residue on her paper can mess up her masterpiece. When I gave her the new pencils, I expected her to use the for school, and of course she has, and was really excited to tell me she got to use them for her assesments this week since they are #2 pencils. But when she started using them for her drawings she was smiling from ear to ear...She loves the way the lead is smooth and no bumps on her characters she is drawing. Her second favorite part is how the eraser does not leave any streaks or residue. She hates that! I am so happy BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils has enhanced her love for drawing...she says the broght colors are a bonus!

I and my sister have always had problems with writing utensil that didn't have the comfort grip sponge because we have tendency to grip too tight leaving an indentation on our figure but with this their isn't an issue and it just lovely how it glide across the paper and even looks pretty when writing in cursive unlike other pencils that break and have to replace the lead or choppy when writing. Just in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils for my purse and travel bag! I keep one in my small zip purse all the time with my puzzle book. That way i am never fumbling for something to write with it's always there! It is great because the eraser has a cover and the lead retracts so there is no mess! These pencils were great for traveling. The kids were using them for drawing, writing stories, filling out Junior Ranger Booklets at National Parks, and I was using them for my logic puzzle books and crosswords!
