Amazing Product!

Well writing pencils with a modern look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great! My son only uses mechanical pencils in school. He just never has quite like using regular pencils so he prefer mechanical. I gave these to him to try out and he really like how well they wrote. He said the lead was not flimsy and easily broken. The lead in alot of mechanical pencils is really thin and can break easily. This is not the case with these. These have a thicker lead in them. He also like how colorful they are. With school starting in just a couple weeks, he will be proud to show off his new pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with these pencils. They are comfortable to write with, and they write very cleanly. My daughter loves them, too. She usually doesn't use mechanical pencils because she breaks the lead so easily, but these pencils are durable enough that she does not break the lead constantly. Having additional lead and erasers is definitely a plus as well!

Ups and Downs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way the pencils feel, they are a good weight and sit in the hand nicely. The lead writes clearly and does not drag on the paper. Mistakes are easily cleared with the eraser. However the mechanics of advancing the lead seems touchy. I have had to take the pencils apart numerous times to clean out jammed lead. It does not always advance the lead even after several clicks also occasionally. Overall nice but some flaws.

Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive this in the mail! I could not wait to try these pencils! I must admit I am weary of mechnical pencils are I haven't had the best experience using them (repeated broken lead, running out of lead, smeared erase marks). As soon as I opened the box, I was truly impressed. The colors of the pencils are so bright and fun and each pack comes with not only 5 pencils, but extra lead and erasers! I am used to having to purchase extra lead, so seeing erasers and lead in a neat little plastic container was awesome! Now to see if they work as well as they look! I grabbed whatever I could find (which happened to be an envelope) and started writing with the yellow pencil that I grabbed from the pack! Wow! It wrote so smoothe and erased very clean". I even like the little cap over the eraser. I had to grab a notebook and continue try them out so more because I ran out of room on my envelope. The Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are constructed extremely well too. They are made up of thick plastic and have a comfortable finger grip as well! I am pretty sure that it will take a while to go through a whole pack of these pencils as they are made very well. The lead writes so smoothe and I was waiting to break a piece off but honesty I haven't broken any lead since I used them! Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened a pack as soon as I received them and placed them in my pencil jar on the desk in our kitchen. The first one to notice them was my college student. She said wanted to know what they were and if she could take them to school with her. I had already tried them and grabbed a few packs at the store. I told her I had already taken care of it and she has a pack to take back to her dorm with her. Next was my husband. He loves his crossword puzzles and commented on how these were the first pencils not to leave little pieces of lead on the table from breaking while he worked on his puzzles. Last was my youngest. She was starting her rough draft for her summer assignment and loved the pencil. I noticed it ended up in her room, and told her she gets a pack of her own for school. These are a hot at our house.

Great pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave these to my kids to use, and they really like them! They've been reaching for them when they draw or write, and have no complaints about breaking lead or bad erasing. I would buy these if I needed pencils!
