[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I prefer pencils for notes and drawing, and mechanical pencils make traveling easier. No sharpener needed! Quick sketches, jot down a note, or write a rough draft, this pencil is fantastic. The lead doesn't stick. It's super smooth, so no stuttering like I've found when using mechanical pencils. My lines are easy, fluid, and smooth. No squeak either! The grip of this pencil is very comfortable. I'm impressed, a nice mechanical pencil that I've had decent results with my sketching and shading.

I love them. I love that they are bright and colorful and that you get extra lead and erasers in the package. Most mechanical pencils, you have a hard time trying to find the refills. These pencils do write really smoothly. I am excited for my kids to use them back to school. I also work in a school and am excited to see how durable they will be in the classroom!!!
