Writing in style!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the way this pencil glides on the paper, the eraser doesn't smudge, and the lead doesn't break when you apply pressure. I love the the fun and bold colors that the pencils come in! My daughter can't wait to use them for school!

Bic Velocity pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always bought the dollar store brand of mechanical pencils, but after trying these I'm going to pay the extra for these. I have noticed that the lead lasts alot longer, erases very easy. My son is excited to use them at school. He says they fit his hands, and is comfortable to hold for long periods of time. He also likes the different colors of pencils in the pack. I definitely think I'll be saving money using Bic pencils ?

I love the bright colors and how sturdy the mechanical pencil itself is. I love how they separate container with extra lead AND extra erasers. This in now my go to writing utensils.

Writes so dark!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils! My biggest complaint with mechanical pencils is that they write very lightly, but the velocity is soooo dark. I compared the writing to my paper mate pencils and there is a huge difference! The rubber grip at the bottom fits very comfortably in my hand and it erases cleanly. My only complaint is if you push hard to erase it pushes the lead out longer. It is annoying to keep having to push the lead back in when I erase, but I can deal with it for the excellent grip and writing legibility.

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are cool!! I like the smoothness of the rubber grip it beats the competitors that has ridges. The lead is dark and not too thin but strong. Easy to erase. I like that these are refillable. Kids are eager to show them off in class.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smoothness of the pencil. Especially for writing and even just doodling. The gripper makes it easy to hold. They are right there with the PaperMate pencils. I do a lot of erasing so I wish there was more of an eraser top.

With 3 kids and what i call my man-child (husband-hehe) when it comes to finding something to write with, I am usually stuck with using a crayon. These pencils are perfect that for the value that everyone in my house gets one. My daughter in high school loves them. My boys going into kindergarten and 1st grade feel like they are using fancy"stuff like their big sister

Terrific pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically loathe mechanical pencils but these are an exception. Normally I find them too clunky in my hand. This pencil has a smooth, not overly large barrel and soft-textured grip. The lead is a smooth 0.7 which is a good size for me because I tend to write with a lot of pressure. Finer leads tend to snap a lot with me. One awesome feature - the eraser has a removable cover. No more funky eraser tips after lots of clicking. They are packaged in fives with additional lead and eraser tips in a sealed tube. I would absolutely purchase these for myself, my office and my son (who is super hard on pencils) because I know they would hold up to a little abuse and keep going. My only ding would be please make these in less flashy colors. I am not inclined to bring these into a meeting with clients for example, but for my personal office use/kid's use, they are just fine. I received these pencils gratis from BIC in exchange for my opinion.
