He doesn't have to keep getting up to go to the pencil sharpener, he just clicks the top and the pencil is good again.

These pencils write and erases very smoothly. The lead doesn't break easily while writing. I received two packages of pencils. I'm using one in m classroom and I gave the other to m high school age kids and I think these will last all year!

I have always preferred mechanical over standard pencils and these are even better than other brands I've used. These come in fun colors; black and gray are so boring. This also makes it easier to find them in the pencil case or bottom of the back pack. The lead and the weight of the pencil make for a very smooth writing style. I also really appreciate that the provided the extra lead, this alleviates me purchasing the wrong size lead right away! Yes, I do that all the time!
