[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was a lot of excitement when my kids received these pencils for free from Bic to test and review. The colorful barrels are attractive and helps to determine who each pencil belongs to. They were very impressed with how smooth it felt while writing. Also, the lines on the paper were bold with barely any pressure at all. No hand cramping from these pencils. I think we've found a winner for our school pencils this year!

We've tried other brands but always come back to Bic and these Velocity pencils are the best in vivid lead and great erasers that don't crumble or fall off right away. Love the size of the barrel for great writing ease!

Strong lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these pencils for free in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All thoughts are my own. My son is usually pretty rough on mechical pencils. Typically, he will break the lead out of them and they are not worth the cost. The Bic Velocity pencils are different because the lead inside of them is super strong. It's tough enough that even when he is using the pencils to draw, the lead does not break easily. These are a much higher quality pencils than some other mechanical pencils that are out there. The lead produces a nice, smooth marking and is very easy to see. No more light writing that I need to decipher when he writes something down. The pens are very colorful and neat looking and look like something that I would also like to keep on my desk! I love the colors and I love the fact that my son is writing and drawing each night before bed now thanks to these pencils!

Loving The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a full-time writer and editor, I have been through too many pencils and pens to count over the years. It is not easy to find a writing implement that can do everything I would like. If I can find a decent mechanical pencil that has good lead, I am happy. If I can find another pencil with a decent eraser, I'm content. If I can find a pencil that is comfortable to hold, that is great. With the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil, I've found all of these qualities in ONE PENCIL! The comfortable grip on the pencil makes it easy to hold, the 0.7 lead is not too light and not too dark, the eraser on the pencil actually erases without leaving smudges and streaks on the paper. I am a happy writer and plan to use these pencils as long as I can!

NO BREAKING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My twin sons love the pencils!!! They said they do not break like the other ones do. Their only complaint was that there was a pink pencil in the pack. I could handle that. They still did not share them with me! I did agree to take the pink one, but that one they said would just be for homework.
