Awesome mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My oldest daughter is pencil freak when it comes to purchasing any writing utensil. She was absolutely thrilled with these. She has never tried them. She likes the way they write the fact they come with extra lead (bc kids go thru a lot of lead & I'm constantly having to buy lead or new pencils) she saved a pack for school she's in the 7th grade and she made me buy her more. Definitely worth the money especially because they come with extra lead. Thanks again bzzagent!

Very comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are super easy to grip and write with for long periods of time! They are a little wider and the strong lead helps beat the frustration of the lead breaking in the middle of a word. It erases super easy and the fact that it comes with extras helps make the pencil last longer!

comfort is key

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and I both love the comfort grip on these pencils. My daughter's constantly writing while in school for 7 hrs and the amount of drawing that I do, after a while you get that lovely dent" in the side of your finger.....The cushion grip on these make a world of difference; at the end of the day your fingers don't hurt. The 4 stars rather than 5 is minor; they erase easily as the description says

Summer Writing Activities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has had some assignments for her Advanced Practical English III Class that has required her to use pencils and notecards. She has always preferred mechanical pencils and since BIC seems to be the most popular brand, we have often used their pencils. I asked her what she thought about the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils and she said that they have a very smooth writing style. She really likes the color or the pencils and the grip. She is used to using a thinner BIC mechanical pencil, but she says that the Velocity is easier to manipulate. She does not like the erasure when comparing it to the other BIC mechanical pencil. She feels like it is too small. I think the quantity of pencils is appropriate for the package and I really like the erasure and lead refills that come with the product.

Better than others

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are the way to go for school or home use. They are sturdy, write very smoothly and are easy to operate. The choice of colors will appeal to both boys and girls and they are a great addition for college students as well. They eliminate the need for a pencil sharpener which often gets lost or broken very easily.

They went on and on about the smooth lead and high quality eraser. They even handed out some pencils to friends who said they loved them too and would be asking mom to buy some. Back to school win!
