Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are very good! I love them! Something you may want to know is they look just like a pen but act like a pencil. When I first opened it I was a little weary but ended up loving them! You may want to use them for office work not school work though.

Kids love Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys have enjoyed these BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils. There is no need to deal with pesky pencil sharpeners that stop working throughout the school year. These come with extra lead in a container for storage. They also come with extra erasers because let's me real kids make mistakes on homework and the pencil erasers waste faster then the pencil. Theyou are easy to hold sin e the are sleek and more comfortable then regular wooden pencils that cause indentations on little fingers. These are not only child approved they are also Mom approved.

MUST HAVE BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample product, of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils from the company, in exchange for my review for BzzAgent. I think these pencils are super cute, they come in a variety of colors. The lead doesn't break easily as I actually tried to put a lot of pressure when writing to see if it would snap off, and it didn't. When I write with pencils, I like them to be dark like a freshly sharpened pencil. A lot of erasers do not work so well. These erase pretty well. I guess nothing completely erases but still not too bad. These meet my expectation and then some. However, the only downside is that when I use the eraser, it pushes the lead out of the pencil. After I finished erasing I noticed about two inches of lead sticking out. It was easy to push back in, but could have broke off too. I will probably be purchasing these for my child and myself. #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually like the grip on this pencil. The hard rubber grip is close to the ideal thickness for me for a pencil of this nature. It doesn?t slip and isn?t too narrow. The overall construction is solid, and it feels like it won?t break in your hand. Writing is fine. The lead is standard. It doesn?t break much, goes on smoothly enough and dark enough for school or office work. Overall, the Velocity is fine. It isn?t the best mechanical pencil ever, and it has no real features, but it?s solidly and relatively comfortably built. It is fairly inexpensive and comes with enough refills of erasers and lead to last the user for some time. As far as inexpensive options go for mechanical pencils, it?s a good one, but there?s nothing special about it.

Not so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually have my kids practice school skills over the summer so I was really excited to be able to introduce them to these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. We got off to a good start, my son thought they were comfortable to hold (he really liked the rubber grip) and it was easy to advance the lead. Unfortunately it was a really hard lead and when my son would press down on the page to write he would rip and tear the paper. This happened repeatedly, despite my encouraging him not to press so hard. These won't work for school work, he'd destroy all the papers! Sorry BIC, these don't work for my 10 year old son.

I was very pleased.They are very nice and I love the grip on them, the colors are bright and cool, and the fact that they came with extra lead an erasers...Amazing. Also, all my friends I have given the coupons to are excited to try them. Thank you!
