[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who will be a junior this year was pleasantly surprised when I gave him the sample I received from BzzAgent. I told him I #gotitforfree courtesy of the hive. He has always been a fan of mechanical pencils over wooden pencils. These pencils are awesome with the extra refillable leads included and they erase clean leaving no marks behind! He will definitely be putting them to the test when he takes his SATs later this year. He also distributed sone of the coupons to some of his teammates on the swim team so they can try them out too. Thanks Bic for a great product and BzzAgent for letting me try these out!

Both of my kids prefer mechanical pencils although they often complain about the tips breaking when they are writing. This is usually when they are working on Math and even the few seconds it takes to reload" the mechanical pencil can affect their learning. I placed these on the table and both kids saw them and did not believe they were pencils - they look so sturdy compared to normal mechanical pencils. When they started their Summer work

They prefer mechanical pencils but hate to throw them away when the lead runs out, so they were thrilled that it came with refills. They are comfortable to use and of course the BIC name means that they top quality and made to last.

I tend to push really hard when I write and I despise constantly having to click new lead out. Well these Velocity pencils have some super strong lead that rarely breaks on me. On top of that, they are very comfortable to write with and have a grip that keeps the pencil from slipping. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love back-to-school shopping when I was a kid. New notebooks and markers made August seem like New Years Eve... A new chance to start again. My children feel the same way I did back then and love the preparation of starting another grade so we were thrilled to receive BIC's Velocity pencils from BzzAgent. They're bright and fun, the perfect alternative to boring wooden pencils. More like pens than pencils, I often grab one thinking there's ink inside (note : the banks do not appreciate checks made out in pencil...) The comfort grip makes writing pleasant and the lead does not break as easily as some mechanical pencils. BIC Velocity has been a great addition to our new school supplies and don't tell my kids but I stole all the purple ones to bring to work....

He said that the pencils write smoothly, the lead does not break if pushed too hard, and the lead erases away cleanly. I would highly recommend these pencils!
