My kids said they like that their a lot lighter to use, easier to grip , fingers don't sweat when using them , easier to sharpen and gives them better handwriting for neater papers . We only use these pencils now and we like that they have more color options now.

I love the super comfortable grip and extremely easy to erase with eraser. I like the clean writing that the mechanical pencil can provide and the ease of not having to have a sharpener. I really loved that the pack came with not only extra lead, but extra erasers also. Normally I use up the eraser on a pencil way before the lead is gone, so this is super helpful for me. All in all I think Bic Velocity Pencils are great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son said the BIC velocity mechanical pencils are the absolute best! He likes the bright colors they come in and the easy to hold grip. He says they write so smoothly but most of all he likes that the lead is thicker and much more durable then the regular mechanical pencils he had tried before. The lead isn't breaking off all the time now. We are so glad he got the opportunity to try BIC velocity pencils for free because now we know how great they are and will make sure he always has some for school!

After they each tried a pencils shouts of they are very smooth" to " I think the eraser works really good" could be heard from my kitchen. Both my 13 & 10 year old kids gave the Bic Velocity a two thumbs up for ease of use and fun colors. My only complaint is that they started to fight over who gets to use the new pencils for school! Oy!"
