BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have vibrant colors to make

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really enjoy writing with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! Doing homework, taking notes in class, sketching, drawing - everything becomes more fun with these pencils. My kids love how well they write, the lead writes dark and smooth, and to me it feels almost like writing in pen. The erasers work very well and erase big or small mistakes with ease, without being too harsh on the paper, or leaving too much little eraser crumbs behind on the paper. I like that the lead of the pencils is much stronger than other mechanical pencils, so it won't break easily. I tested this with my young 2nd grade son who was able to do his homework with this pencil without the lead breaking off! Success! I usually let only my two older daughters use mechanical pencils, but these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are made so well that they will last a long time, because they are sturdy, plus they have strong lead that doesn't break easily. The package also comes with 5 replacement erasers and 12 leads! A very valuable set to buy, in my opinion! We also love that the erasers of each pencil have a small, clear cap on them to protect the erasers, and to actually protect from clicking the pencil accidentally while it's in the pencil case or backpack. Great idea from BIC! No other brand thought about this. Last but not least, the color selection in the package is awesome! The 5-pack of pencils comes with one of each color: blue, yellow, orange, pink, and purple. Each child is sure to find a color they'll love. The colors are bright and vibrant. I love the bright yellow and pink, they make my day a little brighter when I have to write my grocery shopping lists or take other notes. My kids love the blue, pink, and purple the most. Each pencil has a soft, rubbery grip, which makes writing comfortable, even for longer essays. My oldest daughter was especially impressed by how comfortable this pencil feels to write with, because she usually developed blisters and calluses on her finger from other mechanical pencil brands. What is another great feature is that the lead is actually retractable, so you're not forced to break off excess lead if you accidentally clicked it to come out too much. These mechanical pencils are #2 HB, 0.7 mm, and are perfect for standardized tests! I highly recommend these to everyone, and will be getting more! Slick, sleek, and colorful pencils

It is a great day in the classroom when students enjoy doing their work because they have new, colorful mechanical pencils. No more lead breaking every few letters. BIC uses strong lead that writes easy. The package even includes an extra pack of lead and erasers. yes, I said erasers. I love that BIC has added extra erasers. Sharp Point, Erases Great, Fun Colors!

I love that they offer an easy and pleasant writing experience, they don't need to be sharpened, and that the eraser erases mistakes so well. I home school my daughter who goes through pencils quicker than anyone I know! She loves to have a sharp point and seems to constantly sharpen her typical pencils. These don't require sharpening and she is thrilled with that as well! They always have a sharp point which helps to make her work clear and neatly written. She also loves that they include her favorite color, pink. Overall, we are two happy campers that are thrilled with these BIC pencils! Bravo BIC!

Great pencils

Having three children of diffrent ages in the house and two of them in school they love these pencils. Several of there friends parents have bought these pencils for there children after there children used my kids pencils and got attached to them. There perfect!

Best Mechanical Pencil

I then used some of my coupons to buy them 2 more packs each for school. My daughter who love to draw using them for her artwork and was amazed at how great they are.

Best Mechanical Pencils Ever!

I usually buy the plain bic pencils and the kids throw them away when they run out of lead. The Bic Velocity pencils are awesome. The lead is a hardy .7mm and the package comes with refillable lead and get this...REFILLABLE ERASERS! YES! we all know the pencil topper erasers done fit well on mechanical pencils so this was great! The colors they come in are so fun! I bought 5 packs for my house and even bought my nieces and nephews a pack each!

No Smudges!!

Even after a two hour lecture my hands did not cramp up or hurt at all from writing for two hours straight! This mechanical pencil has become my favorite!
