[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are very comfortable to hold and to grip. They come with a pencil grip to keep your fingers from cramping. Being a writer I absolutely love new writing utensils. And, being a back to school (college) student this has come in very handy being that I write for long periods of time. The pencils come in a variety of bright colors, extra lead and eraser tops. They are also refillable. Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils are and have been a great addition to my supply!

Nice clean lines, the lead doesn't break easily, nor does it streak like some do, and I write with a heavy hand. Comes with plenty of refills and erases very nicely. I have hidden these from my kids so they don't take off with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They seem to be more strong to hold & grip. They're not as flimsy. The lead comes out better so it's more like writing with a pen than a pencil. When I have to erase though, the eraser seems just about the same. A bit small & Luke it's about to fall out. When putting the cap back on I feel like I'm pushing the lead out too. Overall though, it works real nice & I like how it writes so smooth.

When you can have colorful mechanical pencils, that you just push a button for lead and they are refillable when you run out. They write smooth and have a comfort grip for the all day writer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was excited to try the BIC velocity Mechanical Pencils. She loved having them for the 1st day of school. She likes mechanical pencils in general but she told me she loved these ones. She loves the colors and how thick and comfortable they felt in her hand. These pencils have a nice clip that holds them to her paper when she is not using them. They are made from a durable plastic that wont break easy and has a nice metal tip for the lead to slip thru so the lead stays put.
