Great pencil!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids just started school this week and have already given their BICÆ VelocityÆ mechanical pencils a thorough workout between drawing, worksheets and general note taking. The girls are thrilled with the bright colors and LOVE that there are grips. They kept forgetting they had eraser caps, however, so those had to be removed (I like it myself--it keeps the eraser from getting all gritty in my purse). My youngest (9 y/o) likes that her lead doesn't break every time she tries to write or tear her paper--which was a major issue for her last year with another brand pencil and their 0.7 mm lead. Overall, we are impressed with the quality of these pencils. They may be a little pricier, but sometimes you just have to spend a little extra for quality.

The Best in Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought a mechanical pencil is a mechanical pencil. But I am wrong. I compared a generic mechanical pencil to Bic Velocity and really it's night and day. Bic Velocity is thicker, more substancial, has a comfort grip that is lacking in the simple generic. It writes very well and erases easily, has a good feel in my hand. My 8th grade daughter was very impressed as well. She liked all the different colors and how it felt in her hand and how smooth it wrote. I think these are a bargain as well. I calculated they approximately $1 or less each and that is without a coupon or back to school sale. So I highly recommend you get your kids the best and buy these over generics. Give them the best tools to work with. It's so worth it.

Best Mechanical Pencils

Bic Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two packs of Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and ten coupons from BzzAgent. The pencils don't feel cheap. They are very sturdy and surprisingly very light. My kids like that they are very colorful and that they come with pencil grips. The eraser actually erases everything and doesn't smudge. I like how they come with extra lead and erasers. I will definitely be purchasing this product for this school year.

Perfect for young artists!

Who wants to fuss with sharpening and broken lead?
