[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils make writing hassle-free. I love that I never have to sharpen them and the lead is refillable. The lead writes really smoothly. The eraser actually erases all the marks easily. The colors are fun and make them easy to find.

They write so easily and much better then regular pencils because you don't have to sharpen them. It erases cleanly and the rubber grip in the place where your fingers go make writing for a while much more comfortable.

They seem to hold up better than the cheaper brands, the lead seems more sturdy and they don't break as easy. We will definitely be buying some more. They not only come with extra lead but also extra erasers! Awesome!

He loved the variety of colors and was so excited to draw me a picture with them. The lead was so smooth he was able to sketch smoothly and if he made a mistake he was still able to erase cleanly. Although erasable, the pencil lines did not smudge with the side of his hand. He is so excited to take them to school and write with them!

Working @ a local learning center, I've had the chance to chat w/ teachers @ all levels. Middle/high school teachers were the most excited about Bic velocity mechanical pencils! Both my high school & college sophomores were thrilled not only w/ testing out the mechanical pencils, but seeing all the coupons they knew I'd be purchasing more! Not only was I able to chat about Bic velocity mechanical pencils, I was able to chat w/ several more teachers/ parents about BuzzAgent! This campaign was on the mark as far as timing goes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils can be cheaply made when it comes to the ones that are reasonable priced. But these BICÆ VelocityÆ are affordable and very sturdy. When I first opened the package I thought there was no support for the lead in the tip but when I pushed the end out popped a little metal support for the lead, loved it! Another thing that k am completely in love with this pencil is because of the little clear plastic cap that is over the eraser! I don't have to worry about the eraser popping off and losing all the lead from my BICÆ VelocityÆ mechanical pencil! I used it to draw for a good 45 minutes and did not have to press for more lead. It's such a strong lead and writes perfect and very easy to erase. You also don't have to worry about running out of lead and eraser because each package comes with extras of both in a very cute sturdy vial. One thing I would be cautious about for young children is the cal for the eraser it could easily be a chocking hazard, but with good supervision or removal of the cap there should be no problems at all. Also the plastic grip for the pencil makes long drawing sessions amazing because you don't have to stop due to the pain of the plastic pencil digging into your finger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these mechanical pencils are great! My kids love using it- they say its so smooth and they like the dark lead! I like that it comes with extra erasers and extra lead. My kids and I love the colors. I feel the eraser does not erase well. I still can see the writing or drawing i just erased. I like that the lead last long and does not break easily. I like that its light weight and it has cushion grip. Overall I think its a great mechanical pencil!
