[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MY 5th grader was very happy to get his mechanical pencils for school this year and has a mom of a 5th grade boy so was I. I am always sharpening pencils when doing homework. So not having to worry about having a working unsharpened pencil is wonderful, Also as a working mom when boys go somewhere after school I know they will have a pencil to use to do work. so far its a great product. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that school has started, my daughter Taylor has began writing notes again. She's in 10th grade & picky about her pencils (weird, huh?). At first she didn't want to use the Bic Velocity for the campaign, because they weren't her FAVORITE pencils that she uses every year, but after convincing her to try them out, she realized they weren't so bad. She says that they write well, are easy to click, and have smooth lead. They weren't her FAVORITE ones, but she says that they can come in 2nd place!

From the vibrant colors, smooth writing, comfortable grip to the extra lead and erasers all those factors is what makes these Pencils worth the buy. The fact that they are affordable just puts icing on the cake.

They love the colors, how comfortable to hold and the smoothness of the lead. They love the idea that they can just refill these. We have had other refillable pencils and they usually just get thrown in the teach but they will not toss these! They write smoothly and don't break as often as others. I love that my kids want to write and doodle with these!

My 12 year old really liked the style of the mechanical pencils, my 8 year old loved the bright bold colors they came in and I really liked how much easier it was for my 5 year old to hold the mechanical pencils. My only little complaint about the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils is not knowing when I'm about to run out of lead. Other than that I will most definitely be buying these for the rest of the school year for my kids.
