[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think they are great! They write smooth and don't have much breakage like I've had with other mechanical pencils before! If I had to choose between reg pencils " and these I'd definitely say there's over all!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are the absolutle best! I homeschool my children and they love these. They refuse to use there regular pencils now. The both ages 10 and 13 have no problem using them and we havent had the leg break at all while writting with them! I will be buying these from now on and recommeding them to other people as well! Thank you for allowing me to try these great pencils!

The bright colors help me color coordinate projects. They work well and have a great eraser. Lead refill is easy. Over all a great mechanical pencil that I not only like but recommend trying.

Great quality pencils!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids just recently started back to school. I gave them the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils to use. At first they were reluctant to use mechanical pencils. They told me the other brands they tried in the past were very cheaply made and were flimsy, the lead would constantly break and the erasers would fall out. With the Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils, they haven't had any problems! The lead doesn't break, the pencils are sturdy and quality made and comfortable to hold. My kids are impressed and now request that it's the only pencils we buy!

Smooth writig experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils themselves were comfortable to hold, appealing to the eye and durable . The BIC Velocity provided a smooth writing experience with minimal refills/breaking of led. The down side is the eraser it causes smudges and when you attempt to apply pressure it ejects more led from the pencil. My children requested a pack of their own for the return of school the second down side would have to be the retail price for a mother of 5 the retail price did not fit into our budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are very stylish. Very good looking writing utensil. I love the variety of colors, I love that they come with extra lead and extra erasers. The erasers have a cap which is also very convenient. My only issue is that they don't erase quite as clean as I would prefer. Some lead is still visible even after erasing. Otherwise 5 star pencil!

My BIC Velocity Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils were just the righty gift for my son who enjoys writing with mechanical pencils. I received my bonus and surprise packs of BIC mechanical pencils very promptly from the BzzAgent campaign and I am so pleased that I did. I decided to try one out for myself and they really do write smoothly! I like the fact that the colors are vibrant, eye-catching, and gives students the opportunity to choose their favorite or most liked color. For me, effective writing begins with a good writing stencil and these mechanical pencils encourages me to write more.
