Pretty and cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to add the new BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils to their back to school gear this year. They thought they were super cool compared to the traditional old school pencils. I have already saw my daughter drawing and doodling with them in her spare time as well! I think the look means a lot to kids and these definitely have the look, plus they write very smooth and clean. Both my kids are in love with them and have already asked for more.

Great pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter will only use Mechanical pencils, and we have tried many of them. But Boc is our brand. We got these to try and review and she is really liking these, the grip is good and it did not seem that the leads keep breaking. As I said we have tried so many brand and a lot of the leads break all the time and you have to buy tons of them, these seem to be like a regular pencil, we will definitely look into buying these again along with the other Bic ones we get.. I do recommend these

They made the bag cut!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started school yesterday and both of my school aged kids packed these pencils in the bag. That's extremely high praise from the child who had her bag packed for weeks, with folders and binders color coded by subject. It's slightly less high praise from the kid who tossed some supplies in his bag the night before, but still praise, as he had options. They like the mechanical pencils because they are always sharp and the erasers consistently work. My college age kid prefers a metal mechanical pencil with thinner lead (.5 vs. the .7 in these pencils). Those pencils are definitely higher quality with a better hand grip/feel, but they are also considerably more expensive. The BIC velocity are a great pencil for the cost. My son mentioned that he thought the hand grip was a nice feature.

Good for School

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the pencils to my kids so that they could try them out at school. They love them. The y pencils are easy to grip and write smoothly. I tried out one at home and feel the same way. We love BIC pencils.

Awesome Pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I love the colorful barrels! No more boring yellow pencils! These write so smoothly, you never have to worry about catching on that edge that needs to get sharpened. The lines are crisp and clean and very easily erased clean. I feel good sending my son off to school with these. I'm confident his assignments will be some of the most neat and presentable papers that his teachers receive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My step-mother is a teacher. She saw my review on Facebook and decided to buy a pack. Like me, she has trouble with leads breaking. Not this time! She told me she plans to buy more to give to her students at Christmas and Halloween, so I'm going to send some of the coupons to her. Teachers need as much help from the public as possible! ;-)

Great Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love these pencils and were excited to share them with their friends. They like the color and how comfortable they are to write with. They prefer to use mechanical pencils over regular #2 pencils because they like the idea that they can always keep them sharp without having to get up and use a pencil sharpener. They are ready to put them in their pencil pouches as they head back to school this week.
