He has said they're smoother and write so much softer. Others he tried he would bare down on them and lead would break but with these he just has to lightly stroke the paper and don't use all the lead up. I love how these came with extra lead and erasers, excellent idea there. I recommended these to my family and friends because you honestly can't go wrong with the Bic Velocity!!!

The lead is strong and smooth - it doesn't break like other brands. The grip is perfect and the eraser is a clean eraser - no black streaks here. i would absolutely recommend this pencil for students, teachers, and even accountants like myself.

Me and my kids have been using it and found with sleek and stylish looks and it comes in vibrant colors, that suits different days/occasions . The thing that attracts me towards it is that it has soft rubber grip that offers comfort and control, strength to hold and also erases cleanly , this makes correcting mistakes without spoiling papaer . Writing is a critical learning technique for children and with proper tools it can be used to make better readers by bulding their confidence and encouraging them.

I've tried them myself, my older son has been using them at college and my younger son is taking them to school as well. These pencils look and feel like a pen when you are writing with them. The led is so smooth. I also love the colors of the exterior, fun and bright! These are a big hit with my older son who started college this week. He likes to use mechanical pencils to begin with but said these are definitely his new favorite. We will be getting more in the future and telling friends and family.

My kids have been using them at school and have given them to their friends as well. They all like the cool colors and that the erasers erase very well. A lot of mechanical pencils have an issue with the lead going back inside when you begin to write, but so far these do not! We love the fact that their #2 pencils as well. My kids are hoping their teachers let them use them on standardized tests.
