[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were just thrilled with these pencils. They loved the bright colors that were used. The pencils themselves are easy to hold in your hand. I really was impressed with the lead not easily breaking, which can be a problem in some other brands. My daughter just loves to use these pencils to do her math homework. The marks that are made are clear and easy to read, they also erase easily. I am glad to have had a chance to review this product and will definitely purchase Bic Velocity Mechanical Pencils in the future.

Putting Bic Velocity to the Test

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let my kids put our new Bic Velocity pencils to the test. Historically, we buy what is cheap or on sale when we do our back to school shopping. My kids immediately loved the color choices, the fact that they come with an extra container of lead and an extra set of erasers. We like that these are meant to last longer and therefore the extra erasers and lead will be needed. Everything fits nicely in their school pencil bags so they are ready to refill if needed. The Bic Velocity writes smooth and clean. My kids really like these!

I usually don't like to buy mechanical pencils because they are like a one time use. I also love the smooth lead and the eraser really is smooth to use and isn't to rubbery that isn't brittle. The fun bright colors makes my kids to use and show them off to their friends.

They are much more durable and heavy. Almost like you are using a pen. As a matter of fact, I thought that it was a pen when I first used it! I loved that the package included extra lead and erasers.
