I'm a tutor and I'm always looking for smoother writing utensils because I have to use them so much and I felt no difference when writing with these.

They have a great grip/ finger holder and come in a bunch of fun colors! Additionally, I love how long the lead lasts, perfect for my kids school work and art!

Other pencils snap when you sharpen and he has no problem. Thanks we will be getting more in the future

The pencils were definitely brighter and more colorful than her regular mechanical pencils as well so she was very happy about that. The best part about these pencils though was that the lead was so much thicker and stronger!!! You didn't have to worry about it breaking every little bit while you were trying to write! That sold us on these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils! They are definitely worth it!

I am particular about the way they feel in my hand and how the lead or ink comes out on the page. So far, I like the way this pencil feels in my hand and how smooth the lead is. It erases well too. I don't find it to be dramatically different from many other pencils I have used and they are not standouts, but they are solid and I would buy them if they were cheaper than the competition.

The write very smoothly and the lead does not break easily like some other mechanical pencils out there. The eraser works good. Overall these are very good pencil that I will defiantly start to buy for the kids when they lose them!
