I had high hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really had high hopes for these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils but they are just not working out for my family. I had my 7 year old son try to practice his handwriting with these pencils and I was very disappointed. He loved the rubber grip and it was easy for him to advance the lead but they didn't erase cleanly at all. When he tried to erase a mistake the lead sometimes wouldn't budge, it was like trying to erase pen. I normally love BIC products but these pencils just aren't working for my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are fantastic. I use them myself for my math and science classes . I am in nursing school and I prefer the neatness, the lead strength. I have always used bic mechanical pencils. I'm glad they have continued to keep their quality. Which is why I continue to use them.

Sturdy Lead

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am personally not a huge fan of mechanical pencils, but after trying these pencils I received free from BIC, I am a believer. The lead is sturdy under my heavy hand! I'm not constantly having to change out leads everyday as opposed to other brands of mechanical pencils. The only down side is being a lefty the lead smears a little as I am writing.

Colorful Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils!

They like that it has a cap over the easer and that it erases easily and clean. It comes with extra lead to refill the pencils. Well worth the money to spend on mechanical pencils. Great, fun pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's difficult trying to get kids excited about back to school, so anything that adds a little fun to the routine is very welcome. My kids love the look and feel of these pencils. After using them, they put some right into their school backpacks so that they would be ready to use when school starts in a few days. The pencils have a smooth feel when writing and are always sharp. I will have these ready to go for after school homework as well.

They are in fun colors, easy to use and the grip is wonderful no blisters from writing a paper all day long. I like these pencils because they write great and don't break easy and a good quality lead. They will last forever!!
