Love these pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write great and I love the fun, vibrant colors. Definitely my go to pencil when writing. Before I used these pencils I wondered how smooth they would write and how the lead would hold up. They write very smoothly and the lead does not break easily at all. I also love the fact that you can cover the eraser so that it stays clean. They are also very comfortable to write with because of the soft, plastic gripper at the bottom of the pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mechanical pencils worked well and had a nice feel to them. They wrote smoothly and evenly. No need to press down too firmly when writing or drawing. The barrels come in nice vibrant colors and I liked that they came with extra lead. The color of the lead is decent and you do not have to write harder and end up ripping the paper. The erasers worked well in the beginning but after a while they began to just smudge instead of cleanly erasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If there's one thing that seems to get every kid excited, it's a mechanical pencil for some reason! It's like the equivalent to when I get a new cleaning supply. What a sad sentence. They both loved the fun colors because mom always hears about it when the pencils are too boring! Colors get an A+ here! My kids are both pretty hard on lead, too, but these seem to hold up pretty well with their never-ending effort to actually carve the table as opposed to just writing on paper. A couple of leads were broken in the process of some pretty intense writing & drawing, but for the most part, they held up and did the job! The erasers were for sure better than the average mechanical pencil eraser. They're normally so cheap and flimsy that they just disintegrate or fall right out of the pencil. They wiped the lead clean off the paper, however they didn't do as well on colored paper. I'll give it a pass for that because normally children cut that stuff up and make crafts from it. Not my kids. Difficult people. We have a few of these unused as they're being reserved to bring along on the first day of school! Great pencils!

She loves that they come with a lot of lead, the erasers have nice little caps, & each pencil comes with a soft grip so she doesn't have to get one & put it on. She has thanked me for them several times. I'm so happy the pencil issue is solved!

My oldest daughter brought all the papers for me to sign and gave me one of her BIC mechanical pencils to do it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my BIC Velocity mechanical pencils in the mail, 8 kids were instantly in love. The colors were so bright as well as the fun shape of the pencils. The pencils have a rubber grip for comfort and support. When we actually started writing the letters were darker and it did not break every time you pressed it to the paper. When erasing it wiped clean instead of smudging and smearing. BIC velocity is well worth it. My kids and I are excited about our mechanical pencils.
