My children definitely loved them. They love the style, color and comfort of the pencils. Oh, and their favorite part of the pencils are the cover the eraser.

My kids love the look and feel of these pencils. After using them, they put some right into their school backpacks so that they would be ready to use when school starts in a few days. The pencils have a smooth feel when writing and are always sharp. I will have these ready to go for after school homework as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really, really like these pencils. My son and I have used them quite a bit since receiving them from BzzAgent. I like how dark they are. I also like that the leads are strong and don't keep breaking like some other leads do. The erasers are nice too. I have given a couple of them to my 5th grade students who have special needs and perseverate on sharpening pencils and they have also been enjoying them. The pencils are comfortable to grip and the colors are great. I'm not a huge fan of the eraser cap simply because it has to be removed to use the eraser - but the workaround there is simple - just leave it off! Although, admittedly, it does keep the eraser nice and clean. I don't really know what the better alternative would be other than maybe an eraser that goes down into the pencil and can come up when needed.

Great mechanical pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually avoid mechanical pencils for a few reasons. I tend to put a lot of pressure on writing tools, so the lead usually breaks on me resulting in a lot of lost product. It also is hard to refill the pencils trying to fit the lead into the tiny hole. With the Bic Velocity mechanical pencils, I have not had a problem. The lead seems to be very sturdy, and has not broken on us. That is a major bonus because I really didn't like wasting the product, even if it was just little pieces. The lead writes really smooth, and does not smear. It is even when writing, not too dark or too light. It is comfortable to hold, and doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like some pencils are. I also like you can refill with new lead and re-use the pencil part to help the environment and save trees. These are so durable that they should last for year. They will get a lot of use from my school aged child and other members of my family. I would definitely recommend these pencils.

I have tried to buy her other fun colored pencils in the past and none of them have been #2. These being both pretty and #2 make them the best ones yet. The old ones where ok But the new sleek designs of these pencils are fabulous they feel better in your hand while writing for long periods of time, more comfortable to hold. i think that best part of these pencils are that the metal tip that the lead comes out of actually retraces back into the plastic that way there is nothing sticking out to make a whole in your back pack or anything. They are great for drawling free hand with because you can shadow, blend and high light with ease.

He loves the colors and the fact that he can carry extra lead and not worry about finding a pencil sharpener. His work looks so much cleaner now with the better lead and that it can erase alot cleaner now. Writing essays are hard enough but now that he can make corrections and it's much cleaner makes it easier!
