[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BICÆ Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great. My kids and I have been using them for about a month now and really do like them. Not only are they comfortable to hold when writing, but they come in great colors and provide smooth lead for a better writing experience. And the lead was easily erased. What more could you ask for in a mechanical pencil?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my pencils at work for several weeks now. I also sent a package with my daughter to take to school. First, I love that they are number 2 pencils, so I know she can't go wrong with them in the classroom. 2nd, the lead is dark, which is what I prefer. 3rd, the lead has never broken while in use and the eraser works perfect. 4th, they are comfortable and easy to write with. 5th, the have plenty of extra lead and erasers to make them last a long time. I would recommend these pencils to anyone. I was lucky enough to try this product for free from BIC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grips are wonderful and the smooth lead doesn't smear making them wonderful for everything from note taking to test taking. I use them around the house for making shopping list and writing recipes. My husband has even claimed 2 of them for his college classes even though he had just bought pencils.

I took some notes for a work meeting, using this pencil and it was great. No breaks, never skipped on the page and my hand never cramped as it usually does. The extra lead and erasers are such a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got these pencils I was just expecting your typical run of the mill mechanical pencil. Boy was I wrong. THey have a soft grip that I don't usually associate with pencils. The lead seems to write darker, which I thought would be harder to erase, but it's not. Paper came up clean. Of the many mechanical pencils I have purchased in my day, none have ever come with extra replacement erasers, and Bic thought of it. YAY! I think my favorite thing about them is that they are completely retractable. It's not just the lead, but the whole tip that retracts, making it less likely to break the lead. I'm lucky that I have any to use myself because the kiddos seems to enjoy them just as much as I do.
