Perfect for school

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I homeschool my kids and we are constantly battling broken lead. I love watching my kids doodle and doodle until their pencil is completely out of lead. More then ever, they stop whatever productive activity they are doing because once their lead breaks, they don't want to read sharpen. Now I've watched them sit for hours and doodle draw and write. I couldn't be happier, and neither can they!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BiC Velocity mechanical pencils are awesome. They write smooth and erase clean. They also have a rubber grip that makes it easy to hold. Their is a tab that allows you to put pencils in your shirt pocket if you lose like I do then this is an awesome addition not available with regular pencils. I love that BiC included extra lead and erasers for them. My two teenagers were excited to have them and all their friends were asking to use them and where they could buy them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was very excited to see the colors the pencils arrived in and she quickly took the purple one for herself. She is in the 7th grade now. She used the pencil at home to do some of her home work and practice math problems. According to her the writing was quite bold and she liked the look and color of the lead. Sometimes it did feel a bit rough depending on the angle, otherwise overall it was smooth. The lead did not break at all even if you pressed hard for darker writing.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils Rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I was in high school I have loved using mechanical pencils. There was always a sharp point and I didn't have to go looking for a pencil sharpener. For me, the one thing I wanted to know before getting the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils was how readily available the lead refills would be. There is nothing worse than running out of lead and not being able to find the correct lead refill. Thankfully, refills are easily located. I had my son try it out first. And he loved them, especially the different colors (not the pink because it was too girly for him) and the cushion grip, as he tends to hold pencils and pens with a tight grip (me too). Our inventory of stubby pencils have finally decreased!

smooth as butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of writing for work purposes. I have used the regular #2 pencils and I have used mechanical pencils. Both have their disadvantages. Pencils have a habit of breaking at the most inopportune times. The Bic velocity pencil was different. First thing I noticed was the comfort grip. When you write as much as I do and you have carpal tunnel, comfort is everything and this pencil has it. Secondly, it writes as smooth as butter. Other pencils have a jagged, almost skip like when writing. Not this pencil. Mistakes are cleaned easily, leaving no messy residue or pencil smudging. I suppose parents would say these were good for kids but I think they are perfect for adults as well. I work in a public bus yard, I have to write down the bus locations for over 200 buses. This in itself can be a tedious job, then I have to write out the bus assignments. Previously, my hand would get tired but with these pencils, I find myself not needing to stop as often. Definitely a plus for someone with a tiresome hand.

Great Mechanical Pencil

The pencil is easy to hold, and has a nice grip. The colorful barrel of the pencil makes it fun to use as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mechanical pencils because who wants to stop writing just to get up and sharpen your pencil!? It's super easy to just click the top and keep writing and these Bic Velocity pencils take mechanical pencils to a whole new level. They come in 5 different colors that are bright and pretty so you can have a new pencil every day of the week. The top has a cap that keeps your eraser covered and safe from falling out. I love how comfortable the grips on these are because after writing for a while I usually get a cramped up hand, but these are soft and easy to hold even after a long writing period. The lead is really strong and doesn't break as easily as other mechanical pencils I've used so I don't feel like I'm wasting money by having it constantly break. I really like that these come with a little extra pack of lead and erasers. It's so rare to see pencils come with extra erasers and usually after you wear one out you're just out of luck but with these you can just toss out the worn down one and replace it with a fresh one! I love these pencils and I will definitely be buying more in the future! I received this product for free from BIC and BzzAgent!

Our new favorite pencil

My youngest usually has a little difficulty using mechanical pencils, but he was able to grip and write with these just fine. They write sooo smoothly and the writing shows up really dark. I love that they come with extra erasers and lead. We always use up the erasers so quickly! I do a lot of crossword puzzles and other word puzzles and these are my new favorite pencils for that. I've shared the coupons I've gotten with friends and told all my family members they have to get these pencils. They are so worth the extra money! ESPECIALLY if you're a big writer or in school! So happy I got to try these out. #GotItFree
