Not a cheap Mechanical Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil fits nicely in your hand. It has a solid feel with a true soft comfort gripper. The colors are fun and the package comes with extra lead/erasers. The lead is strong and does not break under regular use. When the lead runs out you do not feel like it was a disposable pencil. I wanted to refill it and keep using it. The pencil writes smooth and clean. The eraser did not flip out of position when pressing to erase and it completely erased. My daughter also enjoys using the Velocity Mechanical pencil. She took the pink and purple. In her words its just cool." She liked that the eraser did its job without tearing her paper. It is a nice Mechanical pencil."

Smooth writing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are great! I really don't like mechanical pencils for a few reasons. One being that when you use the eraser the lead clicks letting more lead come out and two the pencil usually drags on the paper sometime ripping it. These pencils ran over the paper smoothly without dragging and when I tested out the eraser the lead stayed in place and it erased quite well. I would highly recommend these to anybody who enjoys using pencils. I'm hoping to purchase more for my kids and husband for school.

No other can hold a candle to the gripper on Velocity. So comfortable; no more pencil callus on my finger! The fact that they use .7 mm lead is also great... no breaking mid-sentence! Thanks for the free pencils, BIC! I'll be buying these for my kids and recommending to moms everywhere!

These pencils write awesomely smooth and have a nice tip at the bottom that makes them feel more like an ink pen. My words come out pretty on paper! The great eraser is also nice because I hate smudges. These ink pens are affordably priced and I'll sure buy them al school year for my son.

This pencil is awesome. It is super smooth and it writes like a pen. I also like the fact that the lead is very sturdy and doesn't break every time I touch my paper like most mechanical pencils. I looking forward to using these for the long term and also getting them for my daughters for school.

With 2 boys I know for a fact that I have to normally spend a fortune getting them everything they need! Normally I get both mechanical pencils as well as regular pencils because they have a mixture of preferences. The thing I like most about mechanical pencils is not only can you get number two lead, but you don?t have to worry about having a pencil sharpener around! These BIC velocity mechanical pencils are not only from a trusted brand, but also comes with extra lead and extra erasers! Can?t beat the value here! Plus they are colorful and have a soft comfortable grip. The thing with mechanical pencils is that they tend to write lightly, but these ones seem like they write darker and smoothly. Also what I like about these is unlike other mechanical pencils the tip (part where the lead comes out) is metal rather than a cheap plastic that breaks! So they are durable!
