[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying I am old school and like regular pencils. My son is opposite. He only wants mechanical. He loves them. He said they had nice lead for his drawings. He said they will be nice for school when they start back in September. He gave me one and it felt like I was holding a pen. I didn't break the lead easily like other pencils. Love that it comes with extra erasers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils are very high quality and are standing up to extensive use so far. The leads aren't breaking easily like some others can and they write smoothly for me every time. I really like the eraser cover and the rubbery gripper that isn't squishy because those get filthy and are hard to clean. This pencil cleans easily though! I think people of almost any age would really enjoy using these with all of the great features I've mentioned, plus they're a great price with a long standing reputation company, Bic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these pencils, they are really smooth and easy to write with. I don't use pencils very often but I have to say these are great and I would definitely buy these. I gave a pack to my son and he's loved them, he only uses mechanical pencils and he also said these were smooth. Love them

Great for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children both loved using the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils for school work and every day writing. My son said they wrote smoothly, erased easily and were great mechanical pencils. My daughter I believe was too young and pushed too hard and was constantly breaking the lead. So I would say for older kids and adults these are fantastic and make for excellent every day use but the little ones should skip them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old son stole my pencils..... That is a compliment to the product. He likes them. I just wish he could have left his old lady at least one pencil. :)

Smooth Writing, but not a fan of the eraser!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the grip they put on this pencil and the lead writes smooth. However, when I go to erase or apply even a small amount of pressure, the lead comes out. It needs to have less sensitivity or a different place for the lead release. I don't like the cap on the eraser either, so I prefer to leave it off. But I do like the way the pencil feels when writing...both comfort and the lead.
