Great Mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves Mechanical Pencils. He has tactile issues and prefers to use Mechanical pencils. He was very excited when these arrived at our home. They make writing fun, are easy to hold, he does not get a callus on his finger when using them as he would with a wood pencil. The lead is strong, it does not break easily. It writes in a smooth dark line. I even love using them. I hate the feel of lead #2 pencils. I always did when going to school. If I have to use a pencil, it must be a mechanical one.#GotItFree #BICVelocity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received two packages of Bic velocity mechanical pencils from Bzz agent. They are arrived in the mail with several coupons to share with friends and family. My children use pencils regularly and we're very impressed with a soft grip and the fact that the pencils are reloadable. No more wasting money on buying new mechanical pencils. I tried these myself and I was very impressed at the way the grip is so comfortable and how the pencils right very smoothly. In the past with other mechanical pencils the Eraser leaves a black smudge on the paper. The eraser on these pencils almost completely erase the pencil marks and did not leave a black smudge which I was very impressed with. These are great pencils that seemed as if they will last for a very long time. I'm excited that all I will have to buy is the reloadable lead for the pencils. No more wasting money on mechanical pencils that are not reloadable ?

Luckily there were plenty of awesome color options that made everyone happy! The kids really liked how the lead and erasers were conveniently kept together in one case! I personally enjoyed how comfortable the grips are. It's a win for the whole family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these are great pencils for students to use because the colors are bright and the lead is strong enough to hold up to kids deep pressure on school work. The design of the pencil is also great for holding the pencil correctly. I really like that because of the strong lead and mechanical feature that there is less time wasted sharpening pencils. Having a variety of color is good too because the kids don't fight over whose pencil is whose and they are easy to find in their backpacks.

My daughter really does not like using mechanical pencils because the leads always seem to break as she is writing with them. She was very impressed with the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils, the leads did not break on them near as much, and she loved the feel of writing with them. With her mistakes being erased fairly clean, as she does make a few. She also likes that she was able to color coordinate her notebooks/subjects with the pencils. She keeps the pencils with the notebooks so she is not searching when we are trying to start school. Above all, we are loving that she is not discouraged by the leads breaking as she is writing.

These BIC velocity pencils seem to have stronger lead. We'll be purchasing these for him to use in school this year!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy trying new products but all too often I find they do NOT live up to the claims and I end up wasting money and have to buy a tried a true product. BIC is a company that I have always thought had great products and I look for when purchasing products. Unfortunately sometimes they are a bit more costly but I have learned through experience, they are well worth the additional cost. These pencils are great for anyone to use. They are comfortable and feel like a pen in my hand something many mechanical pencils do not provide which is what I prefer when writing. I like the colors as well and the shape of the pencil itself as well as the ability to add lead and not have to worry about sharpening a pencil. The lead writes nice and dark more like a No2 pencil. At one point we were told we could not use mechanical pencils as they would not write dark enough or properly. That was not an option so I had them evaluated and we were granted permission to use BIC VELOCITY mechanical pencils which was great. Would I buy these again - YES, I already have bought them again - not because they break but that I needed more as people love them and cannot wait to take one from me. Are they worth the cost - YES in my opinion.
