BIC or bust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was thrilled to use these pencils for school this year. Regular pencils hurt his fingers, and sharpening them during class can be a real hassle. The lead and eraser refills are super handy, and the ergonomic grips really help to keep his fingers comfortable! These pencils make schoolwork easier, and hes enjoyed using them. I can see a big imprpvement in the quality of his handwriting, and I think the BIC Velocity pencils are to thank. I was worried that the school would have an issue with using mechanical pencils, but they were actually well received in each class. Because these are #2 , theyre perfect for all class work and testing! Plus--- the erasers actually erase completely! No more pencil smears and erase marks all over his papers :) The BIC Velocity pencils have worked wonders for my son, and we will definitely purchase more. I received a free package to test and review, and I highly recommend these pencils!!!

Colors pencils galore

Fantastic Find

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited until my teenager started back to school to help me out with the review because he has always preferred mecanical pencils over the #2 ones. After his first day of school he let me know that he would use these for the rest of his school years. My son could not believe that this was actually a pencil, from the click on top to the eraser on the bottom it was perfect. He loved how easily he could hold the pencil and how the lead did not break once he started writing.The tip looked like a pen and wrote as smoothly as one. His teacher said he would be able to take standardized tests with it because the lead was dark enough. He also noticed how the lead lasted longer because it was thicker and did not break as soon as the lead. touched the paper. This mechanical pencil gets an A+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually stick to the packs of BIC pencils that have 24 cheap pencils in them, so I was really excited to have received these to buzz about! I was actually a little apprehensive at first, but, they have become my favorite lead based writing utensil! Anyway, personally I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap. The erasers on these pencils are pretty nice too. They don't seem to disintegrate into tiny specks like ones on cheaper mechanical pencils. They also don't make that horrible 'noise' that the pink erasers do either, which is great. Speaking of erasers, one thing I don't understand is the caps. The erasers have caps on them. ...Why? I think they're supposed to prevent having the lead get pushed out accidentally while you have the pencils in your bag or a case or something. However, upon trying out these pencils for the first time, I immediately lost two of the caps. They're clear so they are very difficult to find if you misplace them. Be careful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are a good quality mechanical pencil. I found the pencils to be easy to refill with lead. I have not needed to change the eraser yet, but it is simple to do as well. The pencils write smoothly and erase clean. I like the cap on the eraser. The only downside I found to the pencils is that the grip is hard, I wish they had a softer more comfortable grip.

Good for the price
