Bic Velocity Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised (first of all) to receive two packs of Bic Verocity pens, and even more surprised to see that the packs contained (not one) but 5 pencils along with refills of lead and erasers. It's always nice to get more then what you expect. The pencils (I thought were nicely constructed with a rubber grip for your fingers. A nice feature if you do a lot of writing. The pencils write smoothly, and clean. Reading over the package I also noticed that Bic offers (what they call) a Bic Performance Policy!! That if you are not satisfied with the product you can return it for a full refund (how rare is that now a days). I also liked the color choices (fun). If I found any fault in the pencils, (and this is just a personal thing) I wish the lead was a bit thicker, making it more sturdy. Some people are heavy" handed (me) when it comes to writing. Other then that I enjoy using the pencils very much"

Best Pencils EVERRRRRRRR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils are one of the very best we've EVER used. They are easy to use, and the one thing we especially love is the fact they put replacement leads right in the package with the pencils. My kids are excited about their writing assignments now, and my oldest has even started using these in his sketch book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Think Bic Velocity Pencils are great because you don't need to go running to the pencil sharpener every time a tip breaks or gets worn down. The bright colors are a plus as you can coordinate with every outfit!

A++ for my girls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils came at a great time since my daughter is going back to school. She's been using them for homework and so far, they have been great. It is nice that we don't have to worry about finding a sharpener, and the replacement lead and erasers are a big help. She just entered 2nd grade and feels like a big kid" with these mechanical pencils. I feel the lead breaks a little easy

Smooth but needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These BIC Velocity mechanical are pretty cool. They look like a pen. The colors they come in are appealing. They write super smoothly and even come with an extra set of lead and erasers. The price is good. They are about $4 a package. The lead is #2, so kids can use these for testing. BUT....there is one huge problem with these pencils. When you erase, the lead keeps pumping up with each stroke of the eraser. So every time you erase something, you'll have to push your lead back into the pencil. This is a deal breaker for me. I think these pencils are pretty cool, but I don't like the way they erase. If BIC fixes this issue, they will be the perfect mechanical pencil. I received these pencils from BIC for an honest review.

Love the bright colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves using mechanical pencils instead of regular number 2 pencils you sharpen yourself (as do I) so he was super excited when this campaign arrived at our house. I let him have some and a few to hand out to his friends and kept some for myself and me to hand out to some other moms I know. We all loved the bright colors and the great way they worked and how the lead did not easily snap or break.
