Happy Back to School Supplies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves using mechanical pencils. So we have tried a lot of different brands but Bic Velocity is her favorite brand. She loves how they write and how well they feel in her hand. So she is super happy to have them.

Great pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are always so excited to get new pencils. They loved the colors of these pencils and were so excited that they came with extra erasers! They have started school now, so they each got to pick a favorite color to take with them. They are also the perfect pencils to have at home for homework days! Even the baby was excited about them! They are comfortable to hold, and they erase nicely. The only thing that bugs me about them is that the lead squeaks when I am writing, and the eraser end is sensitive so I am making more lead come out as I am erasing!

BIC to the Rescue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School supplies can be expensive so receiving free mechanical pencils from BIC was a no brainer but will these mechanical pencils stand up to the test of three teenagers and one adult in school? Well lets see! As in a previous review, my 15 year old thought the pencils were okay but did not hold up to her more expensive mechanical pencil she received for Christmas last year. My youngest daughter did like the mechanical pencil but prefer something with a little smaller barrel to hold onto because in her words, these pencils are a bit bulky!" My 17 year old was not impress but right now she is not impress with school at all except it is her senior year and she is so over school and wants to go to college next year. Now for the real test. While the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils did not hold up to the test with my daughters

Good quality mechanical pencils

I like that they came with a refill of lead. The price is reasonable. We'll be repeat users of these mechanical pencils. Thanks to BzzAgent and BIC for allowing us to try them for free!

Great Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I popped two of these pencils in my 7th grader's backpack one evening, forgetting to let him know about them the next morning. To my surprise, it was the very first thing my middle school son commented on after getting home from school. He thought the pencil grips were wonderful and couldn't believe how easy it was to write with these new BIC Velocity pencils. (He is used to getting generic mechanical pencils.) He liked the capped eraser, as his erasers are always getting dirty in his bag and leaving smudges, that his teachers dislike, on his papers. He wanted to trade me the rest of his generic pencils for the BIC Velocities. He was not thrilled about the purple and pink ones, and wanted to know if there were packs of plain black ones. If there aren't please make some, BIC!

He left his "favorite" one on vacation so when I got these I asked him to try it out it could be his new favorite. He doodles all the time and he has been using the one I gave him. He said he likes the gripper part."

Homework...more fun?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going back to school has been rough, but having pencils my kids actually like using makes life a little easier!!! My high schooler loves them and has no problems with breaking lead and loves he smooth erase. My middle schooler is rough on her pencils and pushes too hard, frequently breaking the lead. The other issue my middle schooler has is pushing he lead out when she erases (again, too hard). Overall, I am pleased!
