[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these pencils are great. I have bought mechanical pencils in the past and they never really worked very well. The lead would break or fall out and you were always trying to adjust it. I have not had any problems like that with these pencils and they write so smooth. My children love them and now refuse to use any other pencil except for these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils are amazing. The way they write is so smooth! Usually mechanic pencils are stiff and you can tell the line isn't soft. But these pencils write just like a regular lead pencil. Also, the lead NEVER breaks on me like with other mechanical pencils I've used. It's also incredibly comfortable to hold and write with.

They write smoothly and the comfort grip is actually comfortable! The lead is nice and dark and the eraser works well. I also like the different colors of cases. Each family member picks their own favorite!

When I first handed a pencil to my son who loves to draw, he thought it was a pen, then when he wrote with it, he was so excited. We will definitely be keeping these on hand. I love that the pack came with lead and eraser refills.

Best Pencils my Daughters Have Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 girls (ages 12 and 15) had almost given up on mechanical pencils because they continually break and run out of lead at the most unopportune times. When I gave them each a pack of BIC Velocity pencils to use, they weren't impressed. But, after a week at school, they both proclaim that they LOVE these pencils and need to get more in case the store stops carrying them! They have loaned a few pencils out to friends (sigh) who also like them. The pencil is not flimsy or difficult to write with, as so many mechanical pencils are, and the lead writes smoothly and easily without breaking. These pencils are definitely on point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No more standing in line at the pencil sharpener for my kids with these awesome new BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. I have two daughters ages 14 and 16, both girls are back to school and are loving these great pencils. My 16 year old actually told me that one of her teachers borrowed it to sign something and he wanted to keep it because it was cool" his words. The girls both say they write very smooth and have had minimal breakage which has been their complaint in the past with mechanical pencils. I used them today when filling out some school paperwork they needed from me and I was very impressed. I would definitely seek them out in the future when shopping for pencils. So glad BzzAgent and BIC allowed me to give them a try for free!~"
