nice, clean, smooth writing

writes smoothly and the eraser is sturdy too

And that is exactly what the Velocity is, a sturdy pencil with a great eraser that won't wear out. It writes smoothly and it feels good in your hand.

Smooth Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can compare it to the old Bic Mechanical Pencils because I just threw one out! These are just better! They are comfy and slick and almost felt like I was writing with a pen but I was writing with a pencil! I love these! With these, I felt like every stroke was even not jagged and I remember feeling that the point would often break or the lead would not be even with the other pencils. I enjoy writing with these pencils and so does my daughter. She instantly goes for them and when doing her homework and I wasn't aware that she knew that they had been added to the jar but the bright colors was an instant attraction and when I tried to hide them she knew exactly which colors were missing! So, I'm excited to buy more because if that's what she needs to help aid her after school in homework, I'm all for it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kid love BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils. The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are bright, cheery and easy to use. The colors are vibrant and fun for young children. Older kids will like the fun fashion colors and the ease of writing and erasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is the only pencil they want to use. I have brought wooden pencils and they are not using them. I had to go back and buy 2 more packs of Bic mechanical pencils for both of them to use in school. I had to know what was so good about this pencil, so I tried it myself and yes K have been uskng them too, to right down my healthy recipes. I really didnt see why they were going crazy over a pencil, but it is more than just a pencil. It has a smoothness, the lead didnt break the whole entire time I was writing and my writing appeared neat. I do not write neat at all..lol. I can see why the kids were excited and why they enjoy these mechanical pencils. They are awesome.

The Best!!!

I immediately noticed the extra lead and thought how I've never had that included with any of the pencil packs we usually purchase for back to school.

I?m typically not a big fan of mechanical pencils, but I have to say- I love these pencils! The lead in them seems much sturdier than typical mechanical pencils, so you don?t get them constantly snapping off as you write (so annoying). And they write darker and smoother than the typical mechanical pencils, which is a huge plus! They are also very comfortable to hold. I have small hands, and am very particular about how pens/pencils feel as I hold them. But these are great! I do have one complaint. Right away I discovered that as I erase, the lead gets pushed out of the top of the pencil. Then when I went to write, the lead broke because I wasn?t aware that so much of the lead had come out. Now I know to push the lead in before I write?. All in all- love these!!
