Fun and effective pencils!

Great for my new high schooler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils write nicely, erase clean, and my daughter prefers them to traditional yellow pencils. I like that they come with extra erasers also because those always seem to be empty way before the lead runs out!

Perfect back to school.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The erasers on these pencils are pretty nice too. They don't seem to disintegrate into tiny specks like ones on cheaper mechanical pencils. They also don't make that horrible 'noise' that the pink erasers do either, which is great. One thing I do dislike about these though is that they get used up pretty quickly. I've been mainly only using the pink pencil and eraser is about halfway gone already and it's only been about 3 weeks since I got these. It's a little disappointing, but the pack does come with extra erasers. I'd definitely recommend getting a separate eraser though, like one of the the big rectangle ones. Anyway, personally I think these pencils are great. They write very smoothly. I haven't had an issue with putting too much pressure and having the lead snap. My friend who actually has this issue with a lot of pencils doesn't have it with these either.The design of these is just great too in my opinion. The look is very sleek and the colors are so attractive. My favorites are the pink and orange. I honestly don't see too many orange mechanical pencils. The yellow is great too. It actually looks even brighter and more neon in person than in the photo. The blue one is just blue - there's nothing much to say about it. They all look pretty nice. I may even go so far as to say they look /sharp/. What a Amazing Mechanical Pencil from Bic! I was really amazed how well my daughter and I liked these mechanical pencils. She liked that they are darker than a pencil and that it is refillable when she breaks the lead. I like the grip of the rubber holder, it makes my hands feel good and not so tired as I write up charts and allot of them. The colors are easy to spot and find in my purse and my daughter said her backpack, that is a plus since kids lose so many regular pencils. I like that I don't have to buy her a sharpener for her pencil box and she loses allot of those too, it is nice it has a refill in the package with lead and it stores it inside the pencil so when you run out it is there for you to refill. I will say these are the best things that Bic has brought out this year, we will be using these instead of regular pencils.

BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these mechanical pencils for free in exchange for my honest opinion from BIC. These pencils are great! So easy to use and perfect writing every time! My four year old daughter loves to use her yellow one for homework. She doesn't have to worry about sharpening a pencil when the lead breaks, which rarely happens even though she's a first time writer. The lead is durable and the comfort grip makes it very easy for little hands to use!! I definitely recommend these to my friends and family for their kids. Our back to school shopping was easy thanks to BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils! Best part is it was FREE ?

Back to School with BIC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For Elijah's first day at school (really only a half-day), he's been instructed to bring only a pencil. That pencil will be a BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencil. We like them because they come in bright colors, are easy to grip, and their sturdy lead writes smoothly. I also love how their provided eraser comes covered with a cap and erases very clean - because everybody makes mistakes, right? Elijah gets to pick from a choice of yellow, purple, orange or blue barrels (I keep the pink for myself!), and the pack of five pencils comes with extra leads and extra erasers. I deducted one star because for myself, I like a somewhat finer lead - what comes with the pencils is a full .7mm. If I can get pencils with .5mm, I'll be delighted. All in all, BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are perfect for heading back to school, or to work, or wherever you might want to do some writing yourself.

Fun Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5th grade math students absolutely love the bright colors and stripes on these pencils. It is amazing what math you can get them to do just by giving them a cool pencil! I've enjoyed using these in my math classroom and look forward to continue using them. I wish they wrote a little darker, but I do like how smooth they write and how well they erase!
