Amazingly smooth

These last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pencils were a God send for my use as a teacher and my own kids as students. We have been in school for over a month now, and none of them have asked me for more lead or new pencils. They last!! ...which is saying something for how often theyou get used. Love these pencils!

Great Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I love these pencils. The grip helps my little one hold onto the pencil better. The lead does not break as easily as it does with other mechanical pencils. I love that you can use replacement ink and erasers!

Smooth writing, but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good pencil. It writes very smooth, refills easily, and has a good feel. The colors are also bright which makes the pencil look nice. The writing is better than most mechanical pencils I have tried, including other Bic, Zebra, and Cross brands. There is no drag as you are writing which I have found with other mechanical pencils. It does provide a very smooth writing experience free of those annoying scratching sounds some pencils make on paper. With that being said, good pencil, but would I buy it for myself or my child? I would buy it for myself because I keep up with things, but my children (ages 7 & 13) do not keep up with things and these pencils are about a $1.15 each (although they come in packages of 5) from my local box store. The price would have kept me from buying them so I am glad I received them free to try. Also, a pet peeve that I have is having a cap on the eraser. WHY??? Is it to keep the white eraser cleaner? Although, I do not know why it is there, I find it cumbersome to have a lid on the eraser. It seems the eraser could have been larger without the lid. I would chunk the lid, but the pencil looks funny without it, so I am still removing and replacing it after each error.

My whole family loves BIC Velocity mechanical pencils!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child has had bad handwriting for as long as he has been writing, but since using these pencils his writing has gotten ten times better and it really shows! Before we were barely able to understand what he was writing, but know you can clearly see and read what he is saying all across the page. I have even got my extended family hooked on these amazingly awesome pencils! My cousin had the same situation with her child and she had literally been preaching to other moms within our community and neighborhood about how big of a difference? these pencils have made for our children and their schoolwork.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely LOVED these BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils!!! She hasn't put them down since they arrived. They write really smooth and don't break easily like other mechanical pencils! My daughter has used them for homework and her drawings. She loved all the bright colors and couldn't wait to show them off at school on the first day. We love how they're always ready to go and don't need any sharpening. The eraser refills are a wonderful extra!

Big hit with my classmates

I heard it wrote darker than the original bic one classmate was using and another classmate felt it was comfortable to use. They were interested in the concept of bzzagent and planned on signing up. Once I told them it was a no pressure site where you tried out new products and gave your opinion and the opinions of others.
