[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think BIC has another winner on its hands with the Velocity Mechanical Pencils. My son wanted mechanical pencils this year for 5th grade and these fit the bill perfectly. The bright colors keep the pencils from getting lost in his desk and the lead writes smooth and dark without undue pressure. This keeps his hands from cramping up with all the writing they do. And the extra erasers - that's a brilliant idea. Wish mechanical pencils came with extra erasers when I was in school!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE these pencils but don't really ever use pencils. I signed on to do this BzzAgent campaign because my school age kids wanted to try these. Both kids teachers told them they don't like them using them as they create a distraction in the classroom. The boys use them to do homework and enjoy using them. I have noticed how much better they are than what I used when I was in school YEARS ago! The lead is stronger and they erase better/cleaner than before. I'm not sure if I would buy them again since they can't use them in school but they are nice.

Loved my BIC Velocity Mechanicals Pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best mechanical pencils we have used at our house, and I've tried a lot! They write very smoothly, and the lead is strong enough to not break off 5 times per page! They also erase very cleanly, not leaving behind mystery grey lines on the paper. I'm so happy my kids like using these and we aren't fighting over sharpening the old style. WE LOVED THEM!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pencils. I am a mechanical pencil user and always have been but these pencils have help up better than the typical mechanical pencil. I do accounting work and I use pencils a lot because I have to make changes and this pencil is great. Also I like that the lead doesn't break as easy as other brands. My son liked to use them for his drawings too but I think that I actually like them more than he does. I will be buying these in the future.

Tired of Sharpening?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely amazed at how comfortable the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are to use. Also, my daughter was overly excited at the different colors and not have to keep sharpening. She chose a different color every day, and even wanted to take a set to school. The lead writes smooth and erases cleanly which is a huge issue when it comes to kids school work. I can't say enough of good things, all I can say is try them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Velocity mechanical pencils are a must have for back to school this year. They fit comftorbly in your hand and wrote well against the paper. The leas does not run or break as fast as other brands.

Loved these pencils

They loved all the bright colors and how the pencils would be easy to find in their pencil cases. The loved writing with them and that they didn't have to worry about sharpening them. Being in grade school, they make mistakes that need to be erased and these pencils erased very easily. All in all, a great mechanical pencil that my kids loved!
