I do the crossword puzzles in the newspaper and cannot believe how great they show up on the paper. It is so easy to erase any mistakes. There is no mark or smear left!! They are easy to reload if you run out of lead. I can say I think these are some of my favorite pencils. They are easy to hold and do not slip out of your hands. I love them.

These are great they look like pens and hold like one too which I like. A lot of pencils tend to be to light in weight but these are perfect. I will be buying more for my kids when school starts.

Smooth writig experience

The BIC Velocity provided a smooth writing experience with minimal refills/breaking of led. The down side is the eraser it causes smudges and when you attempt to apply pressure it ejects more led from the pencil. My children requested a pack of their own for the return of school the second down side would have to be the retail price for a mother of 5 the retail price did not fit into our budget.

The lead is smooth and dark, and it is easy to erase those many mistakes made. They are fun colors, and very comfortable with the soft grips. My daughter loves to write and doodle, and is loving her BIC Velocity pencils. She has her pencil and notebook with her at all times.

Plus, the fun colors are a very nice addition to the pencil box. I also like the fact that the lead is #2, just like the pencils that are required for exams. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying the BICÆ VelocityÆ Mechanical Pencils! My students really like them too. There have been some minor arguments/fights over who gets to use them. I find them very smooth-nice and dark. There has been no smudging. I really like that the lead doesn't easily break as I use it. The eraser works well, and I haven't experienced a problem with losing the little plastic cap over the eraser. I have seen several students putting that little cap in their mouths though. EW. I am very satisfied with this new pencil, my own children are, and my students like them too.
