Loved the pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 17 year old loves these. He said they work great for school and the lead doesn't break easy. He did not leave the cap on the eraser as it was a hassle to remember to remove it all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids were so excited to take these to school. They are always running out of lead before the eraser is gone or vice versa! The older kids like the responsibility of replacing the lead or eraser themselves. The little containers keep them organized and don't take up much room in a pencil case. Great bright colors too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to try out the new Bic Velocity mechanical pencils and it was perfect time for back to school. Pencils are the most important school supply, you can?t go to school without one, so I always want to make sure my kids are stocked for back to school. I have made the mistake of picking up some cheapo- no name pencils in the past, which I will no longer do, but in doing that I have criteria of what makes a pencil worthy of me and my kids. My criteria for a great pencil: Writes smooth Lead isn?t too thin, causing it to continually break comfortable to hold eraser works and doesn?t leave marks on the paper cool, fun colors and attractive design a plus! The Bic Velocity is a great pencil and I would, and currently am, sending this to school with my kids. The Bic Velocity has a nice gripper on the pencil making holding the pencil comfortable. The lead seems like it is a nice quality and can hold up to my kids pushing heavy on the pencil when writing. As you are writing, it goes on smooth, almost like a pen. With kids, and math, we tend to have to fix our answers, sometimes more than once. We have not had any issues using the eraser on the Bic Velocity. It erases what is intended and leaves the paper in tacted. Best of all, the pencils are super cute! My kids were all excited to take attractive colored mechanical pencils to school this year! We received a sample of Bic Velocity Pencils from Bic in return for an honest review. Great job Bic Velocity! With two school age kids in this house and two college students, we use our fair share of mechanical pencils. BIC Velocity Mechanical pencils are hands down our new favorite. The bzz kit came with 2 packs of pencils. Each pack with refillable lead and a generous stack of coupons. My 12 year old daughter loved the pretty colors and the smooth writing the pencils provided( she's an artist). She loved the pencils so much that she gave one to her best friend and shared coupons at school!!

In Love of BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils

The lead doesn't break as often as other mechanical pencils do. They also love how the set comes with extra lead and erasers. Plus, these pencils come in cute colors and look really good. We had a few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] School just started for us, so I eagerly broke open the pack to fill up pencil cases for the kids. Boy was I disappointed when two were not working right out of the pack! These came with blue, orange, yellow, pink and purple colors. My son really wanted the blue and orange and, sure enough, they were the broken ones. Luckily there was no issue with the other pack of 5. The ones that did work were great. However, if I had paid for a pack of five and only gotten three that were useable, I would have been extremely unhappy. Hence, the three stars. I've included a photo. It's kind of hard to see, but on the blue one the retracting tip doesn't stay out once clicked. Only the lead comes out so its not stabilized and will break off when you write with it. The pink one is how it should look. They do write nicely, are comfortable in hand and I love the extra lead that's included!
