Smooth and comfortable writing

My daughter started high school this year, and she needed pencils that would hold up to extreme use, while being fairly cool so that she cared enough not to lose a pencil a day. These pencils fit the bill! My teen daughter describes them as cute" while writing "smoothly

The best mechanical pencils

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using these pencils with my son and other family members we are all in agreement that these mechanical pencils are the best. The lead is strong so you don't have to worry about wasting it evertime it breaks, which is a huge plus. We love how dark it writes so it can be used for drawing, test taking and even for writting love letters ;-) There is no need for a pencil sharpener, I love that. There is no more pencil shavings all over the floor no more this way. The eraser on the end stays caped up until your ready to use it. The eraser really works nice with the lead. It completely erases without having to push down hard to get it to work. It is supers easy to grip so all ages can use it. And it comes in fun colors. I rated it a 5 out of 5 because it preforms well and does its job.

The Best Pencil Out There!

They have changed the grip on the pencils, the grips used to be rounder, more easily gripped and the grips now seem to be more curvy.... Regardless, I love the .09 lead, and the covered eraser. The package came with refill lead and erasers.

Fun and colorful

It is great that these can be refilled and used over and over again. I even find then comfortable to hold and use. Writes great and stylish.

They have super strong lead that writes very smoothly. It also erases very easily leaving behind contract of what was written before. My children also love that is has a rubber cushion on it when the pencil in held by the fingers. My daughter was starting to get a bad callous from writing so much but with these mechanical pencils her fingures don't hurt so bad. Now my children will not use any other kind of mechanical pencils. #BicVelocity #GotItFree

Top choice for writing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has never been a big fan of writing...anything! Going back to school I placed the new BIC Velocity mechanical pencils in his bag. I knew he would like the bright colors and I was excited for the comfort grips. Success! 6 weeks into school he isn't complaining about his writing homework and he is even doodling. The durability of the BIC Velocity mechanical pencils is great. The lead writes clean and clear and is darker then most pencils. If a mistake is made the eraser takes away any mistake cleanly and without a trace. These are must have pencils for any student, parent or artist!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth writing and thicker lead. The thick lead helps lower the breakage while writing. Both if my boys love these pencils. I prefer a thinner lead. They take them to school to use. I guess I will be buying tbese since they like them the best.
