[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils are great! My children and I love the beautiful, bright colors they come in. I like that these mechanical pencils are always sharp and ready to write with, no more looking for a sharp pencil, or the need to constantly re-sharpen a pencil while writing important notes or doing homework! The BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have a strong lead that doesn't break easily, and which writes very smooth and dark. The handwriting of my children looked so much more neat, and even little mistakes disappeared easily, without smudging or leaving big marks behind, thanks to the durable, white erasers on them. Another great and unique feature in my opinion is that the erasers have caps on them, which prevents you from accidentally releasing more lead when being tossed into a pencil case or backpack! The package also includes extra lead, plus extra erasers, that make it a great value! My kids' favorite feature about these pencils, besides the vibrant colors, are the soft, cushion-like pencil grips, which make it so much more comfortable to write with them, unlike other brands that used to give my oldest daughter constantly blisters from writing so much at school and at home. I like the durable quality of the pencils, you can tell they are made to last! I have already bought more, and highly recommend them! Great First Day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils have been made much better than other mechanical pencils. The lead is made stronger, and doesn't break every few minutes when writing, which is such a pain. My kids all took their new Bic pencils with them the first day back to school, and were excited to pack them in their bags. They bragged about how everytime the messed up and had to erase, that it wasnt hard to erase and get it all erased with out still seeing it. A few kids asked where they got those cool pencils, they were happy to let them know! These pencils are great for home and school and will continue to be used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My high school kids have used mechanical pencils forever, so I was super happy to give these to them to try, just in time for school to start. Both of them have given their approval, saying that they write very nicely, the lead comes out easily like it's supposed to and they like the grips, they are really comfortable to hold. I like that they come with extra lead and erasers, because we have thrown many previous ones out once the lead is gone or the erasers are worn down. Bic is a brand that I am familiar with and will buy these for them when they need more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must start by saying, it was pretty cool to have the chance to try out these new Pencils before others got the chance to. I decided to get a little help from my kids and niece and nephew that are in school, to see what they thought about the Pencils. I did like that when writing with the Velocity Pencils the writing was very smooth and easy to erase when needed. The fact that the Pencils come with extra erasers and lead is definitely an added bonus. The only downside to writing with these Pencils is if you aren't careful the leads break easily which is something that honestly would happen with any brand. Overall i would definitely suggest these to others and I do plan to use my coupons considering they are reasonably priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today was my daughter's first day of college, so I asked her how was the pencil worked. she said it was the smoothest writing pencil she's ever used and I think she's tried them all so that says a lot. besides it having smooth writing she loved the grip she said she has so much writing in college and she hates when she gets the indents in her middle finger she told me after taking 4 classes which was all day I'm writing she didn't have an indent and she said believe it or not Mom that's a big thing for me so it's off to buy another package because someone's hooked.

They loved all the bright colors and how the pencils would be easy to find in their pencil cases. The loved writing with them and that they didn't have to worry about sharpening them. Being in grade school, they make mistakes that need to be erased and these pencils erased very easily. All in all, a great mechanical pencil that my kids loved!
